My Seche Vite Pet Hate

Ah Seche Vite, something I consider to be the holy grail of top coats. Gone are the hours waiting for my nails to dry, only for them to chip hours later, or get duvet imprints on them. Now thanks to my Seche Vite my nails dry quickly, stay shiny, and are chip resistant. But as the title of this post suggests, there is one pet hate I have about it.

On the left is an ‘old’ bottle of Seche Vite (by old I mean 2 months old), and on the right is a new bottle. I’m not sure if you can see on the left but the ‘old’ bottle there’s still a fair bit left, but sadly its gone to a horrible gloopy stage.

I hate when Seche Vite does this. When I pick up the bottle the liquid inside just slides ever so slowly down the bottle, not how nail varnish should move.
It becomes so thick and gloopy, its just impossible to apply to my nails. If you can see in the photo above, it just sticks to the brush and just ‘gloopes’. It seems to just suddenly creep up on you as well. One day your using your Seche Vite with no problem, next day ugh horrible gloopy nails. For a product that costs around the £10 mark I think it shouldn’t really do this, it really should last a lot longer.

Has anyone else had this problem with Seche Vite?
