NOTD – Somewhere Over The Rainbow

It’s been a long time since I’ve done any nail art, lately my nails have been a mixture of greys and berry tones. So I decided the other day to sit down with my neglected nail art pens and come up with some interesting nail art ideas. I happened to do be doing this one rainy Sunday afternoon, wishing that it was still a little brighter outside, when I came up with the idea to do some rainbow nails!




I picked a bright blue base in the form of Barry M’s Gelly Hi-Shine in Blueberry, which is a gorgeous bold shade. Then using my nail art pens I drew white clouds on my nails, and a rainbow on my accent nail. It’s a fairly simple design but I really love how it looks, and I’ve had many compliments on it! It’s really got my love of creative nail art back again, and I’m tempted to do some more designs again now! Have you got any great nail art ideas?
