I recently made my first Models Own purchase! On the Models Own website you save £7 when you buy 5 nail varnishes. Normally at £5 per nail varnish I thought this was a great deal so I treated myself to 5 new polishes and a new lip balm.
From left to right: Purple Mystique, Pure Purple, Red Alert, Pastel Pink, 3 in 1 base coat/top coat/gloss.
Lip Balm in Ballet Pink.

I’d never used Models Own before, but after reading many blogs, and having several friends recommended it I decided to give it a try. I definitely wasn’t disappointed! I’ve only used two of the nail varnishes so far (I’ll blog about them soon I promise!) but I was very happy with how easy applications were!
I’m not usually a person who wears lip gloss, balm or lipstick (I usually forget to put it on when I go out!), but I decided to give Models Own ‘Ballet Pink’ a try.
I found that the colour came out great. When I first opened my lip balm the colour looked quite strong, and as I’m not used to lip balm I didn’t want too strong a colour. But after applying the lip balm I found the colour came out quite thin, giving my lips a nice pink gloss finish.
Very happy with my Models Own purchase, and certainly will be ordering from there again!
A brand that constantly wins over my heart is Benefit. I just adore their products, packaging and quirky names. Most of their products work for me and don’t disappoint. One that I wanted to try for a long time is the They’re Real mascara, but at £19.50 I find it hard to justify the price tag…
After Sundays #bbloggers on the discussion of storage, I’ve seen and heard great things about how you other bloggers store your make-up etc. Since then I’ve changed my make-up storage around, so I thought I’d show you all some pictures of my storage. I recently bought these multi-drawers from WHSmith, which I keep all…
Last month you may have seen my post Mission Longer Hair, where I was trying to grow out my hair. I talked about using Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment to try and help speed a long the process. I had never used this product before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I…

And finally on Monday the time came to put the hashtag to use, the London meet up organised by the lovely Sophia from Tattooed Tealady, and co organised by the wonderful Sophie…
Hi there girlies! As many of you know I am a self confessed nail varnish addict. I love the stuff, I now have 56 bottles in my collection so I’m just ever so slightly addicted. Well lately I’ve started a job where I can’t wear nail varnish – absolute horror for someone who’s addicted….
During the winter months my skin becomes extra dry and sensitive, and sometimes can crack and become quite painful. So to ensure that I keep my skin hydrated it’s important to invest in a good body lotion. One product that I’ve been absolutely loving this winter is Lavera’s Rose Garden Body Lotion*. Lavera’s Rose Garden Body…
