It’s been absolutely forever since I’ve done a favourites post, and mainly because I’ve been using the same products over and over again, and I didn’t want to create loads of posts made up of the same products! However September was a different month for me, I’ve found loads of new products that I’ve loved to share with you.
Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner
A few months ago I decided to invest in some high end hair care products and decided to try out Redken’s Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner. Both contain protein and really helped to make my hair feel stronger, shinier and healthier. Although these are both quite pricey I really feel like it’s worth it for my hair!
Burts Bees Sensitive Night Cream
When my old night cream started to get a bit low I decided to look into trying out a new one, when someone recommended to me Burts Bees Sensitive Night Cream. I’ve never really tried anything from Burts Bees before so I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I find this really soft on my skin, and it works really well as a moisturiser.
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment
I’m a fan of hair oils but it’s been a long time since I’ve tried out a new one. I got this one as a freebie with something else, but didn’t really think much of it and it sat in my samples drawer for a while. Once I finally got around to using it I was amazed at how it makes my hair feel super sleek, shiny and healthy! Definitely think I’m going to repurchase this once it’s ran out.
Bio Oil*
I’ve never tried out Bio Oil before but when I got send a sample to try I thought I’d give it ago. I have a lot of scars and I’ve found from using this a couple of nights a week has really reduced the appearance of them.
The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream
It seems like my hands are always dry, and I’m always trying to find a new hand cream that helps them. I decided to try out The Body Shop’s Wild Rose Hand Cream after hearing some great things about it, and I’m glad I did! It certainly helps with my dry skin, and I’m forever carrying this around with me in my handbag.
One thing you won’t find much about on this blog is about blushers. I’ve never been blushers biggest fan, and it’s only about 3 years ago I even started wearing them. My worry is because I’m really pale, most colours look really obvious on me, and I prefer blusher that’s a little more subtle that…
Soap & Glory is a brand I often rave about here, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever written anything negative about them. All their products smell amazing, most of them are pink, and I love the witty vintagey packaging. I’m addicted to their products and I’m pretty sure that everything I’ve tried from Soap…
These day’s there’s so many good blogs around, it’s hard to keep up with them all. I’m always looking out on Twitter or through others recommendations for new blogs to read, but there’s several that I find myself visiting on a daily basis. I’ve seen a few people talking about their favourite blog reads and I thought…
I picked this up last weekend from LUSH after reading several reviews on it. Recently I’ve been abusing my poor nails, and my cuticles are paying the price for it. My cuticles were dry and horrible, as I hadn’t looked after them in months. Well after reading a few reviews I thought I’d give this a go…
If you saw my Bourjois A-Z of Beauty Giveaway Winnings post you’ll have seen I was lucky to get my hands on several things from Bourjois, and one of them included one of the Shine Edition Lipsticks in the shade Rouge Making Of. Being a complete lipstick addict this is one of the first things I got…
Sleek have recently released their latest ‘nude collection’ and after seeing many blog posts on it, I had to get my hands on it! Nude’s really call out to me, I’m a massive fan of a nude look, all of my favourite eye shadows are the basic nudey/brown colour, I like the look of ‘minimal’ make up,…
