It’s been absolutely forever since I’ve done a favourites post, and mainly because I’ve been using the same products over and over again, and I didn’t want to create loads of posts made up of the same products! However September was a different month for me, I’ve found loads of new products that I’ve loved to share with you.
Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner
A few months ago I decided to invest in some high end hair care products and decided to try out Redken’s Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner. Both contain protein and really helped to make my hair feel stronger, shinier and healthier. Although these are both quite pricey I really feel like it’s worth it for my hair!
Burts Bees Sensitive Night Cream
When my old night cream started to get a bit low I decided to look into trying out a new one, when someone recommended to me Burts Bees Sensitive Night Cream. I’ve never really tried anything from Burts Bees before so I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I find this really soft on my skin, and it works really well as a moisturiser.
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment
I’m a fan of hair oils but it’s been a long time since I’ve tried out a new one. I got this one as a freebie with something else, but didn’t really think much of it and it sat in my samples drawer for a while. Once I finally got around to using it I was amazed at how it makes my hair feel super sleek, shiny and healthy! Definitely think I’m going to repurchase this once it’s ran out.
Bio Oil*
I’ve never tried out Bio Oil before but when I got send a sample to try I thought I’d give it ago. I have a lot of scars and I’ve found from using this a couple of nights a week has really reduced the appearance of them.
The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream
It seems like my hands are always dry, and I’m always trying to find a new hand cream that helps them. I decided to try out The Body Shop’s Wild Rose Hand Cream after hearing some great things about it, and I’m glad I did! It certainly helps with my dry skin, and I’m forever carrying this around with me in my handbag.
I know you probably hear this a lot, but seriously how fast is 2011 going? It seems like only yesterday I was seeing in the new year, and now its mid October?! Crazy. So yes even though it is now mid October, I’m now posting my September favourites video. Yes yes I know its very…
So a while a go I found myself in Boots swatching away at lipsticks when suddenly one of them caught my eye. It was the perfect deep pinky lavandery shade, without any shimmer or frost. It just stood out to me from all the other lipstick shades on my hand, Rimmel London’s Vintage Pink, I had to…
I’ve made it to week 7 of my 100 day spending ban! Which is something I didn’t think I’d be saying, to be honest I thought I’d give up on this idea pretty quickly. And as you can see from my previous posts the past few weeks I’ve not felt very positive about the whole…
So far I’ve been doing well at sticking to my ‘makeup mix up’s’, however I forgot to blog about it last week! This week I’ll still be using the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation as I’m trying it out to review it, and I think you should try something out for a few weeks before reviewing…
I love a good freebie, but then again who doesn’t love a freebie? So when I saw Marie Clarie were giving away a free Body Shop Body Butter, I snapped it up. You may have wondered why not everyone has milky white teeth just like the models that appear on toothpaste commercials. The reason is to be found in people’s individuality, as with eye and skin colour, every individual has a distinct tooth colour. This is the reason some people find it easier to maintain a sparkling…
