Every year I make new years resolutions, with things I hope to stick to, and usually don’t. So this year I thought I’d try something different, and share what my wishes are for the year ahead.
Last year we moved into our flat in July, and still we haven’t finished decorating or getting it to how we want it. This year I’m hoping to finish decorating, get some pictures up on the walls, and fix a few things that need doing.
2015 was a great year, but after being a really expensive year, money has been a little tight. Last year we started trying to work out what our money goes on, and how we can hopefully save a bit of money. This year I’m hoping that we can make it to the end of the month and still have money, as well as hopefully getting some more savings together.
Me and Chris have never been a real holiday, so hopefully if we can get some savings together we can afford a holiday together this year! I’m not expecting us to be able to afford some super holiday of a lifetime, but a short trip somewhere abroad would be lovely.
I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while now, and failing, and towards the end of 2015 I joined Slimming World. It’s pretty easy to follow, but over the Christmas season I did gain a fair bit. This year I’m hoping to get my act together with it and actually lose some weight!
2015 wasn’t the best of years for me, and I did have a lot of problems with depression and anxiety. This year I’m hoping to to overcome these problems, and hopefully be a lot happier.
Back in 2014 I learnt to knit and spent hours making new things, but in 2015 I didn’t make much time for any crafty projects. This year is pretty exciting because my new niece or nephew is due in July, and what a better excuse to make new things for, so I want to get on with more crafty projects this year.
Learn Something New
This year I want to learn something new, I’m not sure what yet, but it’ll be pretty fun to learn something new!
I’ve been blogging for a while now, and now I’m really starting to get into to it, I realised I never wrote about myself really. I was just so eager to start blogging about make up and nail varnish, I never really spoke about myself. I’ve seen this on quite a few blogs, so I…
Happy fathers day to all the dads out there! Sorry in advance but this is bit of a cheesy post! Like most girls I love my dad, I probably don’t say it to him much, but of course he means a great deal to me. My dad has always been supportive of me, and I…
Happy St Patrick’s day! The one day a year it’s perfectly acceptable to wear green and drink Irish beer all day. Of course no celebration is complete without some themed gifts to get you through the day. And in true St Paddy’s day style, they’re all green and alcohol related ;). Green Twist Glass Beverage…
Everyone loves kittens. You may have seen on Twitter all my tweets about getting new kittens! After weeks of moaning and convincing my Dad, we were allowed to adopt these two cuties! The black and white boy is called Branston, and the tortoiseshell girl is called Pickle (inventive names right?). Both of them are rescue kittens from…
Excuse the Blink 182 reference but today is my 23rd birthday! 23 has always felt like an age I should have figured my life out by, like I should be a proper grown up adult. Although that’s not quite the case I’m still going to enjoy my birthday! Sadly I’m spending the day at work,…
Anyone who knows me will know that I’m obsessed with New York, completely and utterly obsessed. For as long as I can remember I’ve been in love with the city, and I was so happy when I visited my favourite city in 2009. I remember planning my trip in amazing detail, especially as I was only…
