NOTD – Models Own ‘Pastel Pink’

As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts I recently made a models own purchase! I decided to try out my ‘Pastel Pink’ first out of my Models own haul. I’m not usually a pink wearing person, but I decided to try out the pastel colour of this nail varnish (I’ve become a bit addicted to pastel nail varnishes at the moment!). When it arrived I was instantly hooked on the colour! The pale pink shade is perfect for summery days, as its not too bright and easy on the eye. I was impressed at how easy the nail varnish was to apply, I’d never used Models Own before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, whether it would be worth the £5 or not, but I was very pleased. The only flaw I found with this product was applying the nail varnish to make it opaque. Normally with nail varnishes I apply two coats and usually find that does the job, but because the colour is so pale it took about 3 or 4 coats to have a good thickness to the colour. Apart from having to apply another coat or two I’m in love with this product! The colour is perfect and I’m glad my Models Own order hasn’t gone to waste!
