Now that our days are (finally) brightening up and becoming warmer there’s nothing I crave more than sitting in outside in the sunshine with something cold to drink. One thing that appealed to me was iced tea. I’ve always been a big fan of iced tea, but I’ve never got around to making it myself. So one sunny day I decided to take a chance and make myself a nice jug of the stuff. I always thought making iced tea would be pretty difficult but when Teapigs gave me a recipe to use with some of their amazing flavours of tea, it was actually pretty simple. And at the end of it you get something pretty yummy to drink ;).
First you pick your favourite Teapigs flavour – I chose Superfruit
Pop your tea bag into a mug or heatproof glass
Pour a small amount of hot water (just enough to cover the tea temple) for around 3-5 minutes
Take out the tea bag, top up with cold water, ice and fruit
Enjoy!
And that’s all there is too it! Superfruit was my favourite flavour for iced tea, but a close second was lemon and ginger ;). This is a great recipe that you can make several alterations too, you could even make a couple of cheeky cocktails out of it!
It’s no secret that I’m a Lush addict, you only have to look through this blog and you’ll see it mentioned thousands of times. I can’t get enough of their bath bombs, and I constantly have a ‘Lush stash’ tucked away in my bathroom. My friends have even joked that I’m an expert, and often…
I’m the sort of person who has a huge sweet tooth. I love anything that’s sweet, especially puddings. One of my favourite desserts is Creme Brulee, whenever I’m out for dinner and see this on the menu I just can’t help myself. I always thought they were pretty complicated to make so I’ve never tried…
A few months ago way back in July during the middle of a heatwave, my friend Gemma invited me out for afternoon tea at Moggerhanger Park. She wrote this amazing blog post on the experience, and because I’m a terrible person who can’t write about things after they’ve recently happened, I’m writing about the whole experience now, in October….
Recently my mum has become low fodmap, meaning there’s a whole load of food she can’t have anymore. Two things happen to be gluten and dairy. This is making meal times a bit more interesting, and as I live at home I sort of follow the low fodmap diet, although dairy and gluten are two…
Well it’s been a quiet week on the blog hasn’t it? In fact there’s only been one other post since my last weekly update, oops. Usually I like to get all my posts written and scheduled at the weekend as during the week life can get pretty busy with work, but last weekend I had…
A few months ago I discovered Inamo in Soho and discovered how amazing their food was. I didn’t know at the time, but there are two Inamo restaurants, with another one around the corner from Piccadilly Circus. After the amazing experience Chris and I had we knew we had to go back, so when we got invited to try out the new menu…
