January Favourites

This month seems to have completely whizzed by, seems like only the other day we were seeing in the new year and now it’s almost February, crazy. And of course with the end of a month comes the time to talk about my monthly favourites, and here’s this month’s offering.

The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Shower Gel
I fell in love with this when it came out last year, and since then received two bottles for Christmas and stocked up on another. It smells gorgeous and the scent lasts all day, sadly I’m now on my last bottle and I’ll be sad to see this go.

NSpa Deep Cleansing Face Wash
This is a product I’ve had kicking around in my bathroom for ages and completely forgot about until I had bit of a shuffle of my products. I find it’s great for deep cleansing and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth after use.

Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Face Mask
This product has been a life saver this winter as my skin has been feeling dry and a bit unloved. This 10 minute mask helps to restore some hydration back into my skin and has been helping out with my dry patches this winter.

The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Polish
This was another gift this Christmas that I’ve been using constantly and even bought another back up of in the Body Shop 50% off sale. I find it great for exfoliation as well as smelling gorgeous along side the rest of the Ginger Sparkle range.

Ojon Rare Blend Oil
I wanted to try this hair oil for sometime but couldn’t quite justify the £30 price tag, so when I found I had a Boots voucher I jumped at the chance to pick it up. I’m a huge lover of hair oils and this is no exception. I find it great at helping to repair my damaged hair and bringing a bit of moisture back into my dead ends.

Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer
I’ve been wearing this serum primer non stop lately and find it’s great at keeping my foundation in place as well as bringing a bit of a glow to my face. I also have the Matte version, but I find this is the one I’m reaching for the most.

MAC Lipstick in Fanfare
My blog friend Clare persuaded me to pick this up last time we were in London together when I was in MAC looking for a new lipstick. Since then it’s been my go to lipstick and I find myself almost wearing it daily!

Lee Stafford Argan Oil Treatment
Lee Stafford products seem to be something that I just can’t live without. This Argan Oil Treatment is one of my recent purchases from Boots and I’ve been using it weekly as a deep conditioning treatment and the condition of my hair has really improved.

The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Butter
This is again one of my gifts from Christmas that I restocked up on as I fell in love with it. I’ve been using this on an almost daily basis and smelling gorgeously of gingerbread. I’m already halfway through this and seriously regretting the fact I didn’t buy more!

So that’s this months favourite products, what are yours?

The Urban Decay original Naked Palette is one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes, and probably my most used. So when a miniature version of it came out I knew I had to have it. I ummed and ahhed about buying this and in the end two of my lovely friends bought me this for my birthday last year. From left…

  • Clinique Chubby Sticks

Clinique is a brand I’ve grown up and loved. My mum first bought me some of their skincare items when I was going through my bad teenage skin times, and since then I’ve always felt very loyal to the brand. Despite this I’ve never really used much of their makeup products, only trying out a…

  • The Balm Hot Mama Blusher

One thing you won’t find much about on this blog is about blushers. I’ve never been blushers biggest fan, and it’s only about 3 years ago I even started wearing them. My worry is because I’m really pale, most colours look really obvious on me, and I prefer blusher that’s a little more subtle that…

  • NOTD – Barry M Mint Green

So its drawing nearer and nearer to summer! Gone are the dark depressing evenings, replaced with beautiful sunny days! As summer is approaching I decided I needed a new nail varnish that fitted in with the summer. After reading many of your blogs I saw this Barry M ‘Mint Green’ shown a lot on your NOTD’s…

  • Back To Work Makeup

Today is my first day back to work after two lovely weeks off over Christmas. While I was on my annual leave I didn’t really wear much make up, especially as a lot of the time I was at home doing nothing. It was nice to give my skin bit of a break for a…
