Vivid Drinks

A couple of weeks ago I won a competition on Twitter to win a few of Vivid Drinks range as well as some Match Cookies. I’ve been following Vivid Drinks for a while now on Twitter as I’ve been interested in Matcha and what it’s all about, so I was really happy that I won their competition.

Matcha is a type of green tea that’s been ground into a fine powder that contains a natural caffeine boost, helping to improve your concentration, and keeps you feeling alert. All of the Vivid Drinks range have Matcha blended into them to give you all of the nutritional benefits in a highly concentrated form. I’m the sort of person who drinks about 300 cups of green tea a day to keep me awake, so Match definitely sounds like the type of thing that I need!

The Vivid Drinks range has a Lime Ginger & Honey, Pear & Rhubarb, and Grape & Elderflower flavour mixed in with the Matcha. I think out of all of the different flavours the Grape & Elderflowr one is my favourite, as it tastes sort of sweeter than the other two. I started taking these to work to see if it helped increase my concentration and keep me focused at work, which is a challenge in itself. I did find that after drink these I was more alert and stayed focused on what I was doing, and I felt like I had more energy – so a win from me! I also thought the Matcha Cookies were delicious, but didn’t really do a lot for me, but were a tasty treat!

Overall I’m impressed with the Vivid Drinks range, and I think I’m going to have to stock up on some more!

  • Afternoon Tea At Moggerhanger Park

A few months ago way back in July during the middle of a heatwave, my friend Gemma invited me out for afternoon tea at Moggerhanger Park. I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate…
