Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner

My hair hasn’t always been in the best of conditions, after years of using heat and hair dye, my hair has felt a little ‘meh’ and could do with some TLC. I decided it was time to start investing in my hair and buy some products that would help give me beautiful, healthy, happy looking hair. I’ve always used heat protection and hair oils to help my hair, but I thought maybe it was time to invest in some decent high end products, and hopefully this would help my hair out. Whilst looking for some new hair products I wanted to try out some of Redken’s shampoo’s and conditioners, as I’ve heard great things about them.

I decided to try out Redken’s Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner as it sounded the best for what my hair needed. The Redken Extreme Duo is made to strengthen, repair, and protect damaged hair and make stressed out hair shine with health thanks to the use of Redken’s 3D repair complex technology. I’ve never really thought about spending money on decent shampoos and conditioners, as I always thought it’s the products you put in your hair afterwards that help. Since using Redken’s Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner I have noticed a change in my hair, it doesn’t feel as weak, it looks shinier, and generally feels a lot happier than it did before. I’m not sure if this is helping to repair my hair, but it does feel a lot better after using this, gone are my dry ends, and my hair no longer feels like it’s going to snap.

I do think Redken’s Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner is a great product, but it is also quite pricey, costing £19.40 for the two on Look Fantastic, which is a lot more than I’d usually spend on my normal shampoo and conditioner! I think once I’ve run out of this I won’t be repurchasing for a while, I want to try out some more Redken products, and maybe look at a few other brands, any recommendations?
