The Sunday Post #15 – Autumn Candles

Now it feels like we’re in full blown autumn weather with the dark evenings, golden leaves on the ground, I’ve even dug out my winter coat. I think autumn is probably my favourite season, where I can break out all my old favourite jumpers, and sit under cosy blankets and no one can judge me. Now the weathers a little colder, my favourite thing to do is sit in my room burning autumn candles and watching Netflix.

One of my favourite candles at the moment is Yankee Candle’s Fireside Treats. It gives off a lovely bonfirey marshmallowy scent that isn’t over powering if you want to leave it to burn for a few hours, I just can’t get enough of it. Another Yankee Candle favourite this time of year is Salted Caramel, although this leaves a very strong scent that drives my mum mad when I burn it. It can be a bit overwhelming, so it’s not one I’d burn for longer than an hour. My Gingerbread Cookie candle from Best Kept Secrets is another favourite for this time of year, it smells exactly like gingerbread, perfect for this time of year.

I just can’t get enough of burning these three candles at the moment, do you have any favourite scented candles you get out at this time of year?
