Atelier Hertfordshire Bloggers Event

I love bloggers events, their fantastic for getting to meet other bloggers, and I’ve met some of my best friends through attending blogger events. Only problem is half of them are in London, and often during the week and as I no longer work in London, they can be bit of a pain to get to so sadly I can’t always make it. So when I get invited to events that are local to me I get pretty excited, and it’s even better when I get invited back to some places.

Last week the lovely folks at Atelier Salon invited me to their event on spring and summer trends. It’s been a couple of years since I last visited Atelier, so I was looking forward to going back to hear more about their gorgeous salon based in Redbourn. As well as myself there was BexEmilySarah and Pippa, and we were all given a chance to explore the salon as well as treated to some cute jars of pimms and delicious canapes.

After all being welcomed by the lovely staff, we got a chance to catch up with Alastair from Pickle PR, before being shown the three key hairstyles for spring and summer; beach waves, roped twist and the looped ponytail. After the stylists finished showing us how to create each style we were given the opportunity for the stylists to recreate the styles on us. Emily had some lovely beach waves put in, and Sarah has the roped twist put into her hair. I sat watching for a while before I was convinced to let the stylists have a go on my hair. As I have quite short hair I wasn’t sure how the styles would work for me, but they showed me how to put a lovely plait in my hair that sat across my head like a headband, it looked adorable.

After the stylists had finished with us all we were given a chance to have a nose around and a bit of a gossip. We were all then very kindly gifted some goody bags with a few Redken products in that I’ve been wanting to try for ages. Once again the staff at Atelier were very welcoming and clearly are enthusiastic about what they do, and I don’t think they could have done more to make us feel comfortable and welcomed during our visit.

I’d highly recommend a visit to the salon if you’re near to the Redbourn area! Thanks again to the lovely staff and Alastair for having us all again, and for creating such a lovely evening.
