Sleek Nude Collection

Sleek have recently released their latest ‘nude collection’ and after seeing many blog posts on it, I had to get my hands on it! Nude’s really call out to me, I’m a massive fan of a nude look, all of my favourite eye shadows are the basic nudey/brown colour, I like the look of ‘minimal’ make up, so this collection is just perfect for me!

The collection is made up of an eye shadow palette, a blusher and a pout polish. Sleek described their new collection as; Sleek Makeup’s new collection is a celebration of ethereal beauty, and a new nude ranging from earthly browns, to tan and pearly oyster”. This is definitly a collection I’m excited about, as I really think Sleek is missing a good basic neutral collection.

One of the things I was most excited to try out was the pout polish, as I haven’t owned any others of these from Sleek, although I’ve heard a lot about them, so I was eager to try it out! Sleek’s Pout Polishes usually retail at £4.30, which is very affordable and there’s a wide range of colours, but ‘Bare Minimum’ is one I’ve been very excited about. The Pout Polish has been given the name ‘Bare Minimum’ which I think is perfect to describe the quality of this. When applied on the lips it gives them just a hint of gloss, perfect for a natural look. I also love how it contains Shea Butter, so its really good for your lips, helping them out to be healthy and smooth, as well as looking good! Although I do love this, there’s a sort of strange after taste when you’ve applied it which is kind of putting me off.

Sleek also have a Blusher as part of their collection in the shade ‘Suede’, again retailing at their usual price of £4.30. I was really excited to use this as a red head I thought it would work perfectly with my skin and hair. It’s also a matte blush and its super pigmented, and I find when I put it on it lasts all day. It works fantastic with my skin, and I find great for contouring.

And of course last, but certainly not least is the Au Naturel eyeshadow palette with the usual retail price of £6.49. The palette is made up of the usual black matte colour, mixed with a range of neutral taupe’s and plum shades, and a few colours that are great for highlighting too. This is certainly my favourite palette from Sleek, I think all the colours are so wearable on a daily basis, although I do find myself using the top row more than the bottom for daily use. I absolutely love this collection, and I’m so happy that its going to be part of their permanent line, as I can definitely see myself repurchasing this!
