I’m always on the hunt for a new mascara that gives me great length and volume, and I’ve tried hundreds on my mission to find ‘the one’. When I was given the chance to try out Bourjois newest one, the Volume 1 Seconde Mascara, of course I said yes, it sounds like my exact type of mascara.

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara is designed to give your lashes clump free volume, with a specially designed wand to give 360 degree volume, with straight bristles to create clump free definition. I find the wand is really easy to use, and really separates my lashes as I apply the mascara making each lash look longer and voluminous. I find that a lot of mascaras that promise length and volume aren’t great at holding a curl, but I find that this one from Bourjois keeps my lashing looking like I’ve just applied my mascara all day. I also find that the mascara is really easy to remove, I just use a sweep of my usual eye makeup remover and ta dah! No stubbon clinging to my eyelashes for this mascara!

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara is also a budget friendly mascara, coming to £9.99, it’s also currently on offer at Boots for £6.99 if you fancy a bargin! It also comes in a waterproof version if that’s the type of mascara you prefer. I think this is certainly replacing my old favourite Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express mascara, and is well on its way to becoming a stable item in my makeup collection.

Okay so I lied, I couldn’t stay away from buying more nail varnish. I was weak and visited a Boots counter, discovering there was a 3 for 2 offer, so this is what I came out with… From Left to right: Rimmel London ‘Disco Ball’, Rimmel London ‘Sky High’, and Rimmel London ‘Matte Finish’. …
Now that we’ve been thrown into the autumn and winter months I like to pick out darker colours for my nails. Gone are the light pastel shades to be replaced with darker reds, blues, and blacks. One of my favourite colours for the darker months is Models Own Thunder and Lightening. Normally I wouldn’t go…
I find that my nail varnish choices tend to go through ‘seasonal changes’, where come the spring summer months I find myself wearing bright bold colours, and this time of the year I go for darker, greyer shades. For some reason it just doesn’t feel right wearing a bright pink nail varnish when it’s grey…

One thing I’ve been reaching for during the colder months is The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Moisture Serum. I’ve mentioned before how much my skin loves vitamin E – it just does amazing things to my…
For the past year I’ve heard nothing but good things about Essie nail polishes. Almost every blogger has been raving about them and their shades. On seeing many a blog post and YouTube video about them I decided that yes, I had to join the hype and treat myself to some, especially since their now…
As I mentioned in one of my other posts Finding Things You’ve Completely Forgotten About that I’ve found many things lately that I’d completely forgotten about, and left behind when I moved to uni. Another one of these things is Clinique’s Defining Lips Long Last Lipstick Preview Palette (gosh that was a mouthful!). My mumma bought…
