My Six Favourite Lipsticks

From Left to right: Rimmel London  Pink Blush, Rimmel London Nude Pink, Elf Runway Pink, 17 Honey Blossom, 17 Beehive, MAC Creme Cup

In the past year I’ve found myself to be having quite an obsession with lipsticks. I never used to be a lipstick kinda girl, and now my collection is getting larger and larger. I now have around 25 lipsticks, but I found that there’s six I use more on a day to day basis. I’ve mentioned before that my ELF and my MAC ones are possibly my two favourite as their everyday pinky colours. But as you can see from the swatches I tend to stick to the same sort of colours!

Rimmel London is a make I’ve been a fan of since I can remember, so it’s no surprise that two of my favourite lipsticks are from them. Pink Blush and Nude Pink are two pretty similar colours, but Pink Blush is more of a pale pinky colour, while Nude Pink is more of a ‘my lips but better’ colour. Both lipsticks contain a bit of shimmer, but nothing too heavy. And as both lipsticks are from the lasting finish range both colours can last quite long on the lips. 17 is also a brand I’m quite a fan of, with two of my favourite lipsticks from their range being Honey Blossom and Beehive. Honey Blossom is one that I tend to wear on a night out as it’s from their lasting fix range, and I find it to last on the lips for ages! And if your hopeless at remembering to reapply your lipstick like me, it’s one for you! Beehive is from their mirror shine range, and is an everyday favourite for me as it just adds this perfect peachy pink shine to the lips, it’s not too colour heavy for everyday use.

What are your favourite everyday lipsticks?
Do you play it safe with pinky/peachy colours like me?

Hello Lovely’s! 🙂 I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! My day was full of spending time with my family, chilling out, eating masses of food, and watching trashy Christmas TV. Now I wasn’t really expecting much for Christmas as I’d only asked for a couple of bits, so I was so excited when…
