Sleek Storm i-Divine Eye Shadow Palette

If you’ve read my tweets over the last couple of days you will have seen I’ve had my eyes on the Sleek Strom i-Divine eye shadow palette. I’ve been thinking of buying it for a couple of weeks now after seeing it on various blogs. I’ve only recently got into eye shadow (whats wrong with me!), and I’m not massively big on bold colours, so this palette seemed the best for me as it contains many neutral/pale shades.

First of all when I saw this I loved the packaging! Its so small and compact that it can fit easily in your bag if you wanted to take it out with you. And the black colour of the palette gives it a ‘profesional’ type of look, especially with the way ‘Sleek’ is written across it. The palette is made up of 12 eye shadows – 3 matte colours and 9 shimmer colours. When I first laid eyes on this a month back I immediately fell for it. The shades all work so well together so you can experiement with different colours together, or the colours will all look good on their own. There’s the perfect colours to create smokey eye looks, or just natural shades.

From Left to right: Shimmer pale gold, shimmer light ‘champagne’ gold, matte pale brown, shimmer dirty gold, shimmer pink, shimmer ‘cranberry’.

From left to right: Bronze, shimmering grey-blue, deep shimmering green, shimmering dark blue with a hint of purple, matte brown, matte black.

I haven’t had much of a chance to play around with this yet, but I’ve tried out a couple of the colours and I love them! So glad I bought this, I think I’m gonna have to try out some other Sleek products!

I’ve always loved looking at other bloggers ‘perfume collection’ type posts, and I’d love to do one myself but truth be told I only ever have one or two bottles on the go. I seem to have a eye (or nose) for expensive types of perfume, so I can never afford to have a collection….

I was bitten by the nail art bug again recently and wanted to try out something new. I’m still not feeling massively confident about trying out some more complicated designs so I decided to go back to an old favourite, leopard print. Leopard print was the first thing I learnt to do with nail art,…

So hello October, how quickly it’s got to this! This year is flying past. September’s been a crazy busy month for me, what with packing and moving back to uni (another post on that soon!). I’ve been so busy with the moving back to uni I haven’t managed to find a spot where I can…

So who’s excited about the Jubilee? I’m suddenly feeling very British and patriotic. It inspired me into doing some Jubilee themed nail art. Sadly I’m working most of the time, at a job where I can’t wear nail polish (I haven’t painted my nails in 2 weeks, sniff), so instead I painted it on my nail…
