I’m not usually one to get sucked in to the sales after Christmas, but this year I was sucked into a couple of 50% off sales, one being from The Body Shop. I love The Body Shop products and find I always have a ‘back up stock’ of them. I originally wasn’t going to make an order for them, but once I found myself taking a look at the 50% off range I knew I had to buy something…
Ginger Sparkle Body Polish – £5
Rainforest Radiance Conditioner – £4.50
Rainforest Moisture Shampoo – £2
Dreams Unlimited Eau De Parfum – £5
Dreams Unlimited Body Butter – £5
Ginger Sparkle Body Butter – £5
Love Etc Body Butter – £5
I originally was just going to pick up a couple of back up items of the Ginger Sparkle range after falling in love with the gift set my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. I already had a spare shower gel so I decided to get the full size Body Polish and Body Butter for when the miniature versions from the set run out. I then decided while I was looking at Body Butters that I may as well pick up a few more while I’m there. In the past I’ve fallen for the Dreams Unlimited and Love Etc scents so I picked up both of those in Body Butter form. Then I saw the Dreams Unlimited Eau De Parfum was also on offer so I decided to pick it up as a girl can never have too much perfume right? ;). And then finally I thought I’d give some of The Body Shop’s shampoos and conditioners a go, so picked up the Radiance Conditioner and the Moisture Shampoo, which I didn’t read the size of so bought the smallest bottle – oops.
I think I’m now stocked up on The Body Shop products for a while now, especially on Body Butters as I already had a few hanging around in my collection to start with. I’m looking forward to trying out the shampoo and conditioner as I’ve not tried any of The Body Shops hair products before. Overall I was pretty impressed with the 50% off sale as there was a good amount of stuff available. The 50% sale is still running at the moment, and for this week only there’s a 40% off non-sale items, so why not go and grab yourself a bargain!
I’ve been a little behind in blogging world recently but a few weeks ago I attended a bloggers tea party hosted by Aqua PR, Ajala Spa, and Sranrom at St Paul’s Grange Hotel with my good blogging friend Louise. I loved the idea of a tea party, and find myself to be bit of a tea…
If you read my Christmas post you will have seen that my mum bought me Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion for Christmas. I’d never used it before but it’s something my mum swears by and has used for years, along with other Clinique products. As I suffer from very dry skin like my mum she thought this…
Kerastase is a brand to me that has always felt luxurious and high end. I’ve only ever tried a handful of products from Kerastase, my favourite being the Nutrive Nectar Thermique, but everything I’ve tried has impressed me. It was when I was looking for an intensive hair treatment when I came across Kerastase’s Fondant Nutri-Thermique,…
I’ve recently become bit of an Origins convert. Since trying out a few of their products I’ve become hooked and can’t wait to get my hands on more. You may have noticed in my latest haul post that I picked up GinZing on bit of a whim. Well I’ve now had a chance to try it…
Years ago I never used to bother with my skincare routine. I would literally wash my makeup off with soap, or even worse, in the shower the next morning after sleeping in it all night. Looking back I dread to think how my skin must have looked and felt at the time. It was only…
Recently I’ve been toying with the idea of using fake tan. I’m a complete fake tan virgin – I’ve never ever touched the stuff. I’m very pale and try desperately at every chance of sunlight to get a tan, but alas I just turn a bit pink or burn. So because of this I have…
