Vivo Colour Block Eye Palette in Dreamy

Vivo is a brand that I’ve heard good things about but have only tried out a few of their products. I’m also a huge lover of neutral eyeshadows, browns, beige’s  taupe’s  you name it, and I’ll wear it. So when I saw this 12 shade eyeshadow palette in my #JulyLondonMeetUp Goody bag I was really excited to try it out. On first impressions of the palette there is a great range of neutral shades perfect to create any look. I’ve had a chance to play around with it all and I’ve completely fallen in love with this Vivo Eyeshadow Palette.

Left to Right – Starry, Clay, Neutral, Eternity

The top row of colours are probably the one’s I’d reach for the most. I recently did a smoky eye out of Clay and Neutral and it was a lovely soft neutral day time look. These colours are your more day colours I’d say compared to the others.

Left To Right – Night, Dreamy, Luxe, Dove

The middle row are your more darker colours, which I’d normally use for a more dramatic smoky eye look. Out of these four I think Dove is my favourite one, which would also work well with any of the top four shades.

Left to Right – Stone, Tease, Sand, Twinkle

And the bottom row is quite a mix of colours. The shade Sand hardly shows up on my skin as you can see, but it makes as a great base colour to build up on. Twinkle is probably the only colour out of the palette that I won’t use as it’s a little too bright for my taste. However the other 11 shades are all up my street so I don’t really consider that a problem.

What I love about this palette is how different all the colours are. There’s such a range of matte and shimmer eyeshadows that you have the ability to create any look that you want with these, and can keep mixing it up.  And at £3.99 it’s definitely great value for money, especially as you have 12 eyeshadows to chose from! It’s safe to say that this is my new favourite neutral eyeshadow palette, even giving my Naked Palette a run for it’s money.
