Biscuiteers Valentines Biscuits

It’s crazy to think that Valentine’s Day is less than a week away, especially when it feels like Christmas was only the other day. I’m not really a big Valentine’s Day person, and actually I think in the past 5 years that Chris and I have been together we’ve only ever really done something once to celebrate it. This year we won’t be doing much either, and although we’re not big celebrators of the day, I still wanted to do something nice, and get Chris something nice to mark the day with. No over the top romantic gesture, but something small that will bring a smile to his face.

I didn’t really know what to get Chris as he’s notoriously difficult to buy for, and having just had Christmas and his birthday, he’s stocked up on his usual favourite whiskeys and other treats. I then came across Biscuiteers who create luxury hand-iced biscuits, and can also create personalised ones for Valentine’s Day. As we’re not the over the top sentimental type of people, I wasn’t looking for the hearts and flowers type of thing, but I found their Valentine’s selection had a great range of biscuits.

I saw this you are my lobster biscuit and just couldn’t resist, I found it hilarious! Not only does this look amazing, but the biscuit itself is delicious. This biscuit card looked so amazing it took me a while before I convinced Chris to eat it (and share some with me!). It’s been decorated so beautifully, and you can tell that the folks at Biscuiteers have really put a lot of effort into hand making each one of these, I wish I had a talent like this! When we finally tucked into this we discovered that it’s a lovely soft biscuit that reminds me of the texture of gingerbread men you’d buy at your local bakery, without tasting of ginger in this case if that makes sense.

What do you think of the Biscuiteers Valentine’s biscuits? Do you think you’ll be treating your other half to one this year? If you’re quick Biscuiteers are offering 10% off their Valentine’s collection at the moment with the code “LOVELY10”, so why not treat someone special in your life? Or even better treat yourself!

I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate…
