Rush Blogger Meet

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the Rush Blogger Meet at the House Of Rush organised by the lovely Becky from Lipgloss and Lashes. The House of Rush is situated in central London, right in the heart of Piccadilly. I’d never heard of The House of Rush before, and it seemed different from other events I’ve been to as it was in a salon so I was excited to pop along and see what was on offer. On my way there I got into London early and met up with the lovely Sarah and Kimberly for dinner first before we got lost headed off to The House of Rush.




When we turned up my first thoughts were that it looked really small, but once you get inside it’s huge and really stylish. There were shelves full of products on the walls, tons of space,  and several treatment rooms where you can get anything from Botox to your hair done. The House of Rush really has everything to offer. We were greated with glasses of fizz and name badges and had a wonder around chatting to other bloggers whilst we looked around. There was the chance to get your nails done but I opted out of that as mine were in pretty bad condition after my Shellac nightmare. There was also the chance to have an oxygen facial, which a lot of the girls had done, but I didn’t get the chance to have a go.




We then watched a live botox treatment performed by Dr Carver who explained the process step-by-step, answering any questions throughout the process. It was really interesting to watch (and when I mean watch I stared at the floor because I hate needles), and really showed the reality of Botox which isn’t something fake that makes your face unable to move. I still don’t think Botox is for me because I’m a complete wuss, but it didn’t look painful in the slightest, and the girl having it done was quite content.
