Hello October

September seems to be a month that came and went before my eyes and already its October, the month of pumpkin spiced lattes and and pretty coloured leaves. I’m looking forward to October, and here’s a few reasons why.

New Job
Probably the biggest change this month is that I’m leaving my current role on Friday, and I’m starting a new job on the 13th! I decided it was time for a new adventure, and I’m really excited to start!

Halloween
Of course the main event in October! I’m not the sort of person to make a big deal out of it, but I’m going to a halloween party this year and I’m looking forward to dressing up and being all spooky.

Autumn
Although it seems like autumn has already started, I’m looking forward to it being in full force, being able to burn festive candles and drink hot chocolate.

Christmas Shopping
Yes I’m that person. Every year I say I’ll start my Christmas shopping early so that I don’t leave it until the last minute, whether I do or not is another thing.

What are you looking forward to this month?

The 12th October 2014 is a date I’m always going to remember, for one of the worst reasons. Two years ago today, my mum had a stroke, caused by a nasal spray, although at the time I didn’t really know that’s what was happening. For a week before hand my mum had been having a migraine,…
