Tangle Teezer

I never really understood the concept behind Tangle Teezers. I mean at the end of the day its a brush, how can it be any better than any other hair brush? My friend Robyn was forever talking about them, in fact I think she loves them so much she owns three, so one day I decided to see what the fuss was about and tried out hers. Now I have super thick hair that gets tangled really easily so normally when I brush my hair I end up tugging my hair, the brush gets stuck in my hair, and it can get painful. But when I used Robyn’s Tangle Teezer it just brushed my hair, no knots, no pain, no fuss. It just brushed my hair without any problems! From that moment on I decided I needed on in my life. I finally started to understand Robyn’s obsession with them…

Created by hairdresser Shaun P (who appeared on Dragon’s Den and was turned away by all the Dragons) the Tangle Teezer Original professional detangling hairbrush is loved by hairdressers and used in professional hair salons. It’s a super smooth operator that works the minute hair is lathered and rinsed. Glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking. Hair peace at last!

Using my Tangle Teezer has made brushing my hair so much easier. No longer does my thick knotty hair have to suffer! You can use it on dry or wet hair (duh it’s a brush..), but I find it easier on dry hair, as trying to use it and blow dry my hair doesn’t really work. Apparently using the Tangle Teezer is good for your hair, and helps prevent against hair breakage and split ends. I’m not sure if this has worked on my hair, but it certainly helps untangle it and it feels smoother to brush. I love my Tangle Teezer. and I can’t picture myself without one. I use it pretty much everyday and even carry it in my handbag with me when I go out. I just wish I had something like this when I was a child, I was forever dreading brushing my hair as it was so thick and knotty! I know that £10 for a hair brush can seem a little bit pricey, but this brush is certainly worth the money!

Do you own a Tangle Teezer?
What do you think of them?
