November Favourites

I know everyone and their dog probably says this in their monthly favourites, but how is it the end of November already?! This year really has flown by, but now I’m excited it’s the end of November because that means it’s finally socially acceptable to get ridiculously excited about Christmas! This month I’ve been mainly sticking to the same favourite beauty products, here’s what I’ve been enjoying this month.

This was a favourite hair care product last year but I completely forgot all about it. I recently rediscovered it in Boots while it was on offer and remembered why I loved it in the first place. It’s great if you’ve got dry or frizzy hair, and leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable.

I’m pretty sure this is my favourite hair product of all time, and probably gets mentioned on the blog quite frequently. Since using it my hair has improved a lot, and it’s brilliant if you’re the sort of person who forgets to put heat protection in your hair, like me.

This is a new skin care favourite of mine, I’m finding it brilliant at keeping my blackheads at bay, as well as leaving my skin looking radiant and glowing.

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl Highlighter
I’ve always been a bit rubbish at applying highlighter but lately I’ve learnt how to do it properly and Benefit’s Girl Meets Pearl gives my pale skin the right sort of glow I’ve been looking for.

Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed
I’m finding Soap & Glory’s skin care products amazing lately, and this face mask is my current go to for when my skin is awful. It seems to be able to get all the rubbish out of my skin, leaving it feeling super clean and helps to get rid of my pesky blackheads.

I’ve been neglecting my lipstick collection a lot recently, I just keep forgetting to apply it in the mornings. Luckily my YSL lipstick has been living in my handbag for the past few months so by default it’s my current favourite lipstick!

What products have you been loving this month?

  • LUSH Lemony Flutter

I picked this up last weekend from LUSH after reading several reviews on it. Recently I’ve been abusing my poor nails, and my cuticles are paying the price for it. My cuticles were dry and horrible, as I hadn’t looked after them in months. Well after reading a few reviews I thought I’d give this a go…

  • Natural Sea Sponge

I’ve never really been a fan of using sponges in the shower, I’ve always found them to be scratchy and irritating on my skin, and the sponges themselves always seem to go out of shape and grow mouldy. So when I was contacted by The Sponge Market I was a bit hesitant about using their sponges. But I was…

  • Lush Retread Conditioner

Lush is a shop I’m becoming somewhat obsessed with. I’ve become an addict, I just want everything. In my recent Lush haul I mentioned I’d picked up a few hair products, one I was really excited to try out, Retread conditioner. Before I’d picked up these hair products, I’d only ever used Lush for the…

  • Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation

Over the past year I’ve found myself turning to more ‘high end’ foundations, with MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid and Clinque’s Even Better being a couple of my favourites. Now that I’ve tried a few high end foundations, I can’t see myself going back to a high street alternative. The application, the coverage and the exact colour match is just…

  • My First Make-Up Brush Set!

So I’m kinda new to the whole make-up brush scene (Don’t ask me how I’ve ever coped I have no idea!), and purchased my first set of make-up brushes last week. Mr Postman delivered them to me early Tuesday morning, I’ve never been so excited!     I got this set of 12 make-up brushes…
