The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea

Recently The Body Shop has brought out a new range; the Fuji Green Tea range. I don’t usually get that excited about The Body Shop’s new scent ranges, but this one really appealed to me. I’m a huge green tea fan, I drink about 8 cups a day of the stuff, and I just love how it tastes and smells. I couldn’t wait to stock up on their products, but one in particular stood out to me, the bath tea. I’ve never heard of bath tea before, or seen anything quite like it, so of course I had to pick one up at my local The Body Shop.

The fuji green tea bath tea comes in this pot for £12, which can seem a little pricey, but you get a lot of the bath tea for your money. As well as the bath tea I bought a bath infuser for £5, which is quite a bit for what it is, but I’m hoping The Body Shop will bring out my bath tea’s so I can use it again.

The idea of the bath tea is to fill your infuser with it, and leave it to brew in your bath like you would a normal cup of tea. When I first used it felt a little strange making tea in my bathtub, especially as I’m used to having huge bubble baths, but once I got into the bath it felt amazing. The whole bath smelt fantastic, and the green tea scent made it feel really calming, and a great way to relax. I’ve been enjoying using this in the evenings before bed, or once I’m back from my gym sessions, as it really helps to ease my muscles and calm me down before I go to bed.

I’m really loving the fuji green tea bath tea, and the whole range. I’ve stocked up on a few of the shower gels because the smell is just amazing. I’m really hoping The Body Shop brings out some more bath tea’s in the future, it’s such a great idea and makes for a novelty bath!
