Benefit Stay Flawless Primer Launch Event

Many weeks ago I was invited to the Benefit Stay Flawless Primer Launch Event (I’m pretty late to the party with this blog post…). I’ve been a big Benefit fan girl since I entered the blogging world, so it was a huge honour for me to be invited. I’d also never been to an event before so I was pretty nervous, but I got to meet up with Ana, EllieKimberley and Becky, so I wasn’t completely alone!

When we got to the event we were given a talk from Lisa from Benefit all about the new Stay Flawless Primer which is designed to pro-long your foundation for 15 hours, leaving it look as flawless as you applied it. When then got to look around at some Benefit products and talk to the Benefit girls before we then went on to the next stage of the event, the Ice Bar.

I’ve wanted to go to the Ice Bar for as long as I can remember so I was pretty excited about this, but this sounds pretty silly, I was not prepared for how cold it is. It’s cold, I mean really really cold. Yes everything is made from ice, but for some reason this didn’t occur to me. Anyway we all had a laugh in the Ice Bar and took some pretty cool photos (see what I did there..), before we headed back into the rest of the event.

We then had a bit of a pop quiz, before having another chat with the Benefit girls and receiving some goody bags which contained the Stay Flawless Primer, as well as the Hello Flawless Oxygen Foundation that we were colour matched for. It was a great evening and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, despite us being freezing! I’ve really enjoyed playing around with the Benefit Stay Flawless Primer and the Hello Flawless Oxygen Foundation so I’ll be writing up a couple of posts on that soon.

Try it now!

  • My Storage

After Sundays #bbloggers on the discussion of storage, I’ve seen and heard great things about how you other bloggers store your make-up etc. Since then I’ve changed my make-up storage around, so I thought I’d show you all some pictures of my storage.   I recently bought these multi-drawers from WHSmith, which I keep all…

  • Natural Sea Sponge

I’ve never really been a fan of using sponges in the shower, I’ve always found them to be scratchy and irritating on my skin, and the sponges themselves always seem to go out of shape and grow mouldy. So when I was contacted by The Sponge Market I was a bit hesitant about using their sponges. But I was…

Recently I’ve been trying to get a little more adventurous with my nail art. If you look through my nail art posts you’ll see the majority are just some form of leopard print, nothing too creative. When it comes to nail art I’m bit a newbie, and some of the extravagant designs are a little scary to attempt. Back in the #JulyLondonMeetUp goody…
