June Loves

I know everyone’s been saying it, but seriously when did it become July? I swear just the other day I was freezing my socks off at Christmas, and now here me have it, July! I just can’t believe where the times gone!
Well here’s what products I’ve been enjoying in June:

Tresemme 24 hour Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray, Batiste Dry Shampoo in Diva, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment, My Coconut Island Body Butter, Benefit Posie Tint, Rimmel London Disco Ball Nail Varnish, Rimmel London The Max Volume Flash Mascara in Ultra Black

Tresemme 24 Hour Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray – £4.99
My flatmate recommended this to me months ago when I mentioned I needed hairspray, and I’ve never looked back! Absolutely love this product, I find it holds my hair perfectly.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Diva – £1.99
I love Batiste dry shampoo! I’ve been using it for over a year now, and I think it works magic. Its great if I can’t be bothered to wash my hair, or if I just want to refresh my ‘do at the end of a day. I also find it gives my hair slightly more volume.
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment – £4.49
I’d never used Aussie until a month ago when they were on special offer at Boots. I find it does wonders for my poor abused/heat damaged/dyed within an inch of its life hair! And it leaves your hair feeling like silk and smells gorgeous!

My Coconut Island Body Butter – Given to me as a gift
I was given this body butter as a gift at Christmas, and I hadn’t really used it much until recently, I don’t know why! It smells great and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. I suffer from dry skin and this seems to do the trick! Hours after putting it on and my skin feels re-hydrated and amazing!
Benefit Posie Tint – £2 with Glamour magazine
I’d never used Benefit before so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought Glamour magazine. But after a bit of playing around I was hooked. I only got 4.0ml and I don’t think I’ll be paying £24.50 for 12.5ml once it runs out, but its great to use at the moment!
Rimmel London ‘Disco Ball’ Nail Varnish – £2.49
I bought this when I was with my boyfriend a few weeks back because I though it stood out, and would be great to jazz up my nails if I get bored of the colour. I think its great, and it looks amazing over all colours! I keep finding myself applying it over every polish I do at the moment.
Rimmel London The Max Volume Flash Mascara in Ultra Black – £6.69
I bought this a few months back after my favourite mascara ran out, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It works wonders on my eyelashes, giving them loads of volume and length!

Since I was around 13/14 I’ve been a big fan of The Body Shop products. I spent most of my time in their looking at and sniffing products, some of the scented things in there smell amazing! I’ve tried the majority of Body Shop products, and I love their Vitamin E range, and shower gels….

  • Clinique Chubby Sticks

Clinique is a brand I’ve grown up and loved. My mum first bought me some of their skincare items when I was going through my bad teenage skin times, and since then I’ve always felt very loyal to the brand. Despite this I’ve never really used much of their makeup products, only trying out a…

  • Concoctions Shampoo

When I was at the TOWIB event in June, one of the brands that caught my eye was Concoction. The idea behind their brand was to mix together different ‘ingredients’ to formulate your own shampoo with what you’ve decided you want in it. I thought the idea behind it was great, but at the TOWIB event I…

So after Christmas and the new year I always find myself having a bit of extra cash for hitting the sales. This year I’ve been trying to be good and stay away from the sales but the LUSH 50% off sale called to me… The first thing I find myself drawn to was the Snow…

  • Spot Solutions

I’ve been having trouble with my skin and spots ever since I can remember. I seemed to get spots before everyone else in my year at school, and hoped that one day I’d grow out of my terrible skin. But at 21, my skin is still awful. Admittedly I haven’t always looked after my skin,…
