I’m sure you’ve seen many a blogger tweeting over the past few weeks using the hashtag ‘#LDNBBMeet’. And finally on Monday the time came to put the hashtag to use, the London meet up organised by the lovely Sophia from Tattooed Tealady, and co organised by the wonderful Sophie from Candy Cane Heart, and myself.

My day started off nice and early meeting up with my good friend I’ve made from blogging Bex from Futures, and meeting Shona from Fresh Beauty xox for the first time. We originally planned to meet on the train, but that didn’t go to plan so I just met them at St Pancras along with Sophia. We then headed over to Oxford Circus to meet up with Sophie and walk around the shops before the meet up. We had a good nosey over at & Other Stories (which I didn’t think was worth the hype), Liberty, Muji, MAC, and Illamasqua. We then met up with Sarah from Some Sparkle and Shine, and me Bex, Shona and Sarah went off for lunch.

After lunch we headed over to Selfridges early to do some shopping and then the craziness of the meet up kicked off. While in Selfridges I headed over to the Clinique counter and bought myself a rather pricey (but worth it) foundation, while Shona took advantage of this to take some rather (un)flattering photographs of me.

It was great in Selfridges to meet some familiar looking faces that I’ve been chatting to on Twitter and to meet some new bloggers I’ve not spoke to before, and met another good friend I’ve made through blogging, Louise from Inspire Magazine. I had a great time wondering around looking at make up and talking about it with like minded people. We all had a great time, and afterwards a group of us went over to She Said Beauty, while another group went off their separate ways for drinks, and others went off to do their own thing.

We arrived at She Said Beauty for an evening of pampering and chatting, and I was pretty excited to see Filthy Gorgeous there doing nails, HD Brows, Millie Mackintosh doing lashes, and most of all Illamasqua who did the most amazing speckled eyeliner look on us girls! The evening was great, the champagne was flowing, there was cake, and a room full of beauty bloggers to sit around and talk to, what more could a girl want? And even better was when we left we received some fabulous goody bags from She Said Beauty.

After the She Said Beauty event I headed off for a cheeky post event Nandos with Sophia, Brogan from Brogan Tate xo, Ysis from Le Beauty Girl, Milly from Mini Adventures, Hannah from Bailey Cakes, Ellie from Ellie’s Ramblings, and Laura from Lola and Behold. Where there was more food and beauty chat going on. After having a laugh with these girls I headed off back to St Pancras to get my train home after such an amazing day.

I really loved the #LDNBBMeet as I got a chance to talk to some lovely people that I’ve been talking to for so long in the blogging world. It’s a lovely way to meet people, and I even found some new blogs to read. If your thinking about arranging or attending a meet up, you really should, it’s great fun!
