If you read my blog, you’ll know by now that this summer I became a Lush addict. There are many Lush products that I love and I repurchase over and over, and then there are a few new ones I’ve decided to try out. Something that always interested me when I went into Lush was the shower jellies. They’d always be out on the display for you to ‘try’ when I’d walk into Lush, and the child in me would always go over and poke it. But I didn’t really understand what it was, the pot said it was like shower gel, but it was all solid and jelly like. Despite not really understanding what it was, it really fascinated me, so one day I decided to purchase it and see how I got on with it.
So the idea behind shower jelly is that its inbetween a shower gel and a bar of soap. It’s like a solid jelly like substance that your supposed to tear bits off and lather up into a shower gel. Sounds easy right? That’s what I thought until I got it home into my shower. So the tearing bits off of the jelly wasn’t too hard, in fact it was fairly easy. It was more the ‘trying-to-lather-it-up-and-hold-onto-it-in-the-shower’ that was difficult. So I had the bit of jelly, I attempted to lather it up, but it just kept falling out of my hands in the shower. It’s ridiculously hard to hold on to! But if you manage to lather it up and hold onto it, Sweetie Pie makes a really nice shower gel and I’ve become quite a fan of it.
What I think I love most about this is the smell, it smells like The Comforter Bubble Bar, my all time favourite thing from Lush, it just smells amazing. Also it’s purple and looks all glittery, what more could you want? Although I’ve really enjoyed this since I’ve got the hang of it, I think once I’ve used up all my shower jelly I won’t be repurchasing. It’s honestly a great product, and great fun, but I think it’s just a bit too much hassle for me, I much prefer a simple shower gel in a bottle form.
Have you tried this out before? What do you think about Shower Jellies?
I’ve never been much of a perfume lover but recently I’ve found myself lusting over the stuff. As you may have known, me and the boyfriend were together for a year the other week, and for one of my presents he bought me Lola Marc Jacobs perfume. The good boy had listened to all my…
I recently posted about my new nail varnish purchases, one of which was Rimmel London’s ‘Disco Ball’. I was eager to try this one out! And this was the outcome of my new polish (please excuse my messy nails! I was in a rush!). I think the name ‘Disco Ball’ definitely suits this nail varnish, as it…

Many weeks ago I was invited to the Benefit Stay Flawless Primer Launch Event (I’m pretty late to the party with this blog post…). I’ve been a big Benefit fan girl since I entered the blogging world, so it was a huge honour for me to be invited. I’d also never been to an event…
I thought I’d do a ‘Whats in my bag’ post because I love reading these! It’s so interesting to see what other people carry around in their bags with them. The bag in question is a new one of mine. I bought it the other day from New Look for £24.99. I really…
I’m now three whole weeks into my 100 Day Spending Ban Challenge, which is a lot longer than I thought I would actually get to. Last week I blogged about how I broke my ban and found myself buying a few things. This week I managed to stick to plan, but I did have a…
