NOTD Essie Chinchilly

essie nail color chinchilly
For the past year I’ve heard nothing but good things about Essie nail polishes. Almost every blogger has been raving about them and their shades. On seeing many a blog post and YouTube video about them I decided that yes, I had to join the hype and treat myself to some, especially since their now available in Boots and Superdrug. My only issue with the Essie range is that it’s on the rather pricey spectrum of the ‘drug store’ range with it being £7.99 per polish. Despite the price tag I decided that I needed the shade ‘Chinchilly’.
I’ve always been a lover of grey/neutrally/nudey colours, so naturally I fell for this. I heard this shade raved about countless times, but it wasn’t until I saw a friend wearing this shade that I truly fell for it. It’s the perfect murky grey shade that I think would go perfectly with any skin tone. I fell for this shade so much, that recently this has been the only colour I’ve been wearing on my nails. It’s the perfect neutral colour for any occasion if you don’t want your nails to stand out or be over the top. The Essie polish formula’s amazed me as well as the shades. The brushes are great for applying in one stroke, and they dry fairly quickly, so no waiting around for hours for your nails to try. I’ve now got a list nearly as long as my arm of other Essie polishes I’m determined to get my hands on.
