A couple of weeks ago I attended the Secret Santa London Meet Up organised by the lovely Clare and Emma. The plan behind it was we were all given a ‘Secret Santa’, another blogger that we were buying the gift for, and would all meet up in London to exchange gifts and eat mince pies and have a chat. I went along with Bex and of course no meet up would go ahead without some sort of drama with us, and this time we got completely lost, despite having gone to Tiger Tiger in Piccadilly Circus three times together, oops. And as usual I completely forgot to take any photos of the event as I was so busy chatting to other bloggers so I have nothing to put up in my post, Oops.
At the event we were given some lovely goody bags organised by Emma. They came with some great goodies from Simply Be, Bomb Cosmetics and Apivita, and I think my favourite thing must be the “I love blogging” sign by Mums Crafts. There was also some chocolates and candy canes but of course I ate that before I remembered to take photos..
We were also given our Secret Santa gifts and I was really impressed with mine. I got a bottle of Lush Snow Fairy (my favourite shower gel ever!), a Revlon Lip Butter in the shade Berry Smoothie, a face mask, and a Baylis & Harding Beauticology gift set including the most amazing fluffy socks, Gingerbread Foot Soak Crystals and Vanilla Frosting Foot Lotion. I was sat joking with Bex and Clare that who ever got me knew me really well as I loved my Secret Santa and then Clare admitted it was her! After the event we all split up different ways and I wondered off with Bex, Clare and her friend Natalie to wonder around the shops, and I even let Clare influence me to pick up a MAC lipstick.
I had such a great time at the Secret Santa London Meet Up, and the thought behind it from Clare and Emma was brilliant. And thank you to my Secret Santa *cough* Clare *cough*.
I was bitten by the nail art bug again recently and wanted to try out something new. I’m still not feeling massively confident about trying out some more complicated designs so I decided to go back to an old favourite, leopard print. Leopard print was the first thing I learnt to do with nail art,…
The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is something that’s raved about in the beauty community and I’m sure we’ve all heard about it. But at £23 for 200ml, its something that’s slightly out of my price range, especially when it’s quite a lot of money to part with just to try out…
Last week I posted my first Christmas Gift Guide For Men, now it’s time to write one on gifts for women! I always find it a lot easier to find Christmas presents for women, mostly because all my friends seem to like the same things as me, which is handy when it comes to buying gifts!…
Once upon a time I was completely oblivious to the idea of skin care and had no idea what I was doing with it. When I first entered the blogging world I was only interested in reading about lipstick swatches and nail varnish colours. I had no idea that there was a whole world about…
Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the Rush Blogger Meet at the House Of Rush organised by the lovely Becky from Lipgloss and Lashes. The House of Rush is situated in central London, right in the heart of Piccadilly. I’d never heard of The House of Rush before, and it seemed different from…
Lately you might have seen on my blog that I’ve had bit of an Origins Haul, and one of the products I decided to treat myself to was the No Puffery Cooling Roll On for puffy eyes. Since I’ve started working full time and staring at a PC screen for 8 hours a day, I’ve found…
