The Weekend Pamper

Sometimes after a long stressful week there’s nothing better than spending a Sunday having a good old pamper session. I like to pick out some of my favourite products and use them all up while watching one of my favourite films, or catching up with YouTube.

I like starting out with a long hot bubble bath, usually with my iPad on the side with a YouTube playlist on. It gives me a chance to catch up with YouTube and to have a long soak, usually with some sort of Lush bath product (in fact I don’t think I seem to have one without at the moment…). I then like to use an exfoliator, and my current favourite one is this one from Sranrom, which smells amazing! I also like to use one of my favourite shower gels, and of course at this time of the year it’s Lush’s Snow Fairy, it just goes without saying. Whilst in the bath I usually pop on a hair mask and leave it in for a good 20 minutes or so to give my hair some time to recover after a long week. At the moment I’m using an Argan Oil one which is doing wonders for my damaged hair, and I managed to pick this up at poundland, what a beauty bargain! After a long bath I like to moisturise with something that smells sweet, and at the moment its this Lavera Rose Garden Body Lotion* which just smells amazing and lasts all day too. Then I like to pop on a face mask while I do my nails, and my all time favourite mask would have to be Origins Clear Improvement, it’s just fantastic at drawing away all of the impurities from your skin and leaving you with super soft clean skin. Then I like to go through my nail care routine and pop a new colour on for the week ahead, one favourite that I always find myself going back to is Essie’s Chinchilly, as it’s just the perfect neutral colour that goes with just about everything.

I always feel slightly better about Sunday nights with my weekend pamper routine, definitely helps combat the Monday blues! Do you have a similar beauty routine you take part in at the weekend?

I’ve never really been one for Valentines Day, and I never really have big plans for it. But the weather is starting to lighten up, and so is my makeup. Despite no big Valentines Day plans this year I’ve come up with a makeup look to mark the occasion. To start with I’m using my Bourjois…
