Blog Takeover – 5 Etsy Picks For Summer Style

While I’m away on holiday I’m letting a few people take over my blog for the day. Today I have the lovely Chantele from Two Hearts One Roof talking about her 5 Esty Picks for Summer Style. Enjoy!

Hello all! Chantele here from Two Hearts One Roof. I’m very happy to be guest posting for Lisa today. As the warm weather seems to be finally creeping up on us I thought I could put together a little post about summer style, but instead of shopping the highstreet, my favourite place to shop is actually Etsy! If you haven’t discovered it yet (where have you been!) it is a site with lots of stores selling handmade and vintage items from all over the world. I have been using it for years now, and love seeing it grow year on year, now there are literally 1000’s of shops and items for sale, from jewelry and clothing to dining tables and entire kitchens! So here are 5 of my favourite picks for this summer!

1. I adore these mini Arrowhead Earrings from Ditty Drops. Mint is going to be a big colour this summer, so I would go for them and the black ones (coz black is always on trend!)

2. The lightweight summer dress from Petit Dejeuner is just perfect for when you want something simple but stylish, great for a picnic or walk in the park. It comes in a range of colours, but I think this Aubergine is perfect.

3. The shop Thai Treasure Hunt has some of the most beautiful and delicate jewelry, perfect for warm summer days when you don’t want to wear anything heavy. My favourite piece is probably this silver daisy ring.

4. Floral Crowns are one of my favourite things at the moment (actually I wear them all year, not just in spring) I found this amazing purple one in a store called Handy Craft TS. She has lots more in many different colours, so your sure to find one you will like.

5. Pretty full skirts! And none are prettier than Rooby’s Skirts! I love all the kitsch, whimsical and fandom fabrics she uses. Full skirts are so feminine and beautiful no matter what your figure. At the moment I am loving her Alice in Wonderland one.

If you would like to follow my blog you can find us on Bloglovin or Twitter. I hope to see some of you on my blog very soon. And thanks Lisa for letting me take over your blog for the day!

    My Room

I don’t mean this to sound creepy, but I love looking in other peoples rooms. I’m interested to see how other people decorate their rooms, or use storage etc. Especially at uni where were giving a small plain box room, I like seeing how others make their room seem like home. I moved back home…

  • KIKO Contouring Pencil Set

Having been a makeup addict for years now, you’d think I’d be quite good at it by now right? Well to be honest there are so many parts of makeup application I’m rubbish at, contouring being one of them. For years I’ve been trying to master it, just giving myself dark dirty looking marks on…

When it comes to nail varnish shades I tend to be a bit boring. My collection seems to be full of different shades of grey, browns and beige’s, and other generally unoffensive neutral colours. Despite having already got hundreds of neutral shades I often find myself admiring others, insisting on the fact it is a…

  • The Weekend Pamper

Sometimes after a long stressful week there’s nothing better than spending a Sunday having a good old pamper session. I like to pick out some of my favourite products and use them all up while watching one of my favourite films, or catching up with YouTube. I like starting out with a long hot bubble…

  • Jubilee Nails

So who’s excited about the Jubilee? I’m suddenly feeling very British and patriotic. It inspired me into doing some Jubilee themed nail art. Sadly I’m working most of the time, at a job where I can’t wear nail polish (I haven’t painted my nails in 2 weeks, sniff), so instead I painted it on my nail…

I’ve always loved photography ever since I was a little girl. I just loved taking photos of things, and then learning how to edit them on Photoshop, and just generally looking a good photographs other people have taken. Back when I was at college I did an A level in photography, and whilst doing it…
