I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate milk is quite a treat. So when I was asked if I wanted to review Cocio’s chocolate milk of course I said yes, what sort of chocolate milk lover would I be if I said no!
Cocio’s chocolate milk is unlike other chocolate milks in the UK, because it’s not from the UK, it’s Danish! I had no idea what to expect before I tried this, as I’ve never tried anything from there (other than Danish pastries…). Cocio is best enjoyed ice cold, and drunk straight from the bottle. It’s made from a simple blend of milk, cocoa, and sugar. As I’m meant to be watching what I eat I was happy to see they do a slightly better for you version, the Cocio One, with only 130 calories per bottle. I usually find that these versions don’t taste as nice as the original, but I was happy as it still tasted just as creamy and luxurious, just without the extra calories and only 1% fat and 1% added sugar.

I really enjoyed my Cocio One Chocolate Milk, and I’m happy to see it’s now available at my local Waitrose. I think it’s safe to say I have a new chocolate milk addiction. You can read more about Cocio here.
A few weeks ago I talked about how I was trying to eat a little healthier, and I’ve been trying to change a few of my bad eating habits. As I wrote in my healthy eating post I’ve been trying to find healthy alternatives, and I’ve been focusing on trying to add things into my diet,…
For what seems like 10 years now I’ve been trying to lose weight. I’ve always been the bigger one out of my friends, and when I was 18 I put on about 5 stone that I’ve never managed to lose. Something that makes me find it hard to lose weight is that I’m literally the…
Since I bought my little flat last year I’ve had a little obsession with all things interior design. The minute we started looking for our own place I started annoying Chris with clippings from home magazines, and by the time the sale had gone through, I had a whole Pinterest board full of ideas of…
I’m the sort of person who has a huge sweet tooth. I love anything that’s sweet, especially puddings. One of my favourite desserts is Creme Brulee, whenever I’m out for dinner and see this on the menu I just can’t help myself. I always thought they were pretty complicated to make so I’ve never tried…
A while ago I blogged about how I wanted to give up sugar with the help of Healthy Sugar Habits 6 week detox programme. My detox programme ended on the 2nd March so I thought it was time to update on how I got on. I mentioned in my first post that I’m a complete and utter sugar addict….
With the start of the new year, I like many others, jumped on the bandwagon of being healthier and trying to detox a little after the indulgent Christmas season. I’ve never really done a detox before, I’ve always just tried to eat more good stuff and a little less crap, but when I was contacted to see…
