I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate milk is quite a treat. So when I was asked if I wanted to review Cocio’s chocolate milk of course I said yes, what sort of chocolate milk lover would I be if I said no!
Cocio’s chocolate milk is unlike other chocolate milks in the UK, because it’s not from the UK, it’s Danish! I had no idea what to expect before I tried this, as I’ve never tried anything from there (other than Danish pastries…). Cocio is best enjoyed ice cold, and drunk straight from the bottle. It’s made from a simple blend of milk, cocoa, and sugar. As I’m meant to be watching what I eat I was happy to see they do a slightly better for you version, the Cocio One, with only 130 calories per bottle. I usually find that these versions don’t taste as nice as the original, but I was happy as it still tasted just as creamy and luxurious, just without the extra calories and only 1% fat and 1% added sugar.

I really enjoyed my Cocio One Chocolate Milk, and I’m happy to see it’s now available at my local Waitrose. I think it’s safe to say I have a new chocolate milk addiction. You can read more about Cocio here.
Now it’s February everyone’s focus has switched from getting fit and being healthy, to all things Valentine’s Day. I find that Valentine’s Day gifts can often get a little samey, with the usual chocolates and flowers still proving to be popular. Although this year I’ve spotted a couple of different gifts, and thought I’d share them with you in case…
I think this is my favourite giveaway I’ve ever done, and I’m pretty jealous that I can’t have all this for myself! If you haven’t guessed already from the photo, I’ve teamed up with Cadbury’s to giveaway this amazing Magic Christmas Hamper. The hamper is made up of a tin of roses, a tin of hero’s,…
For years I’ve loved baking, but I’m not always very good at it. Sometimes I can make amazing bakes, other times I can make more ‘meh’ kind of cakes. My skills really aren’t that great, and although I won’t be making star baker on GBBO anytime soon, my baking skills are slowly starting to improve….
One of my favourite things to do, is to bake. You may have noticed over the years on this blog that the odd baking recipe comes up every now and then, and really it’s something I’d like to do more of but 1. I’m not a great baker, and 2. I usually eat the cake…
A few months ago way back in July during the middle of a heatwave, my friend Gemma invited me out for afternoon tea at Moggerhanger Park. She wrote this amazing blog post on the experience, and because I’m a terrible person who can’t write about things after they’ve recently happened, I’m writing about the whole experience now, in October….
A few weeks ago now I met up with a few of my Cambridge friends Laura and Pippa, as well as meeting Sophie for the first time. The original plan was for a few of us Camb Meetup girls to meet up and go for lunch, but a few people dropped out so it ended up just being us four. Despite there only…
