I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate milk is quite a treat. So when I was asked if I wanted to review Cocio’s chocolate milk of course I said yes, what sort of chocolate milk lover would I be if I said no!
Cocio’s chocolate milk is unlike other chocolate milks in the UK, because it’s not from the UK, it’s Danish! I had no idea what to expect before I tried this, as I’ve never tried anything from there (other than Danish pastries…). Cocio is best enjoyed ice cold, and drunk straight from the bottle. It’s made from a simple blend of milk, cocoa, and sugar. As I’m meant to be watching what I eat I was happy to see they do a slightly better for you version, the Cocio One, with only 130 calories per bottle. I usually find that these versions don’t taste as nice as the original, but I was happy as it still tasted just as creamy and luxurious, just without the extra calories and only 1% fat and 1% added sugar.

I really enjoyed my Cocio One Chocolate Milk, and I’m happy to see it’s now available at my local Waitrose. I think it’s safe to say I have a new chocolate milk addiction. You can read more about Cocio here.
It’s no secret that I’m a Lush addict, you only have to look through this blog and you’ll see it mentioned thousands of times. I can’t get enough of their bath bombs, and I constantly have a ‘Lush stash’ tucked away in my bathroom. My friends have even joked that I’m an expert, and often…
Around this time of year I’m an absolute addict to Pumpkin Spiced Latte’s from Starbucks. Unfortunately living in small village there isn’t a Starbucks near to me, and the closest one is still a good 30 minutes drive away, so I’ll have to make do without. Although when the lovely people at Bluebird Tea Co sent me…
A couple of weeks ago I talked about how I was attempting to give up sugar for 6 weeks, I’m now over halfway through my 6 week sugar detox programme from Happy Sugar Habits, and I thought I’d update on how I’m doing. I mentioned in my original post that my relationship with sugar is awful, before I…
I’m luck that I have a nice tight knit group of friends who I get to see regularly. When we were younger we used to spend all of our free time at each others houses, and as we got older we’d spend all of our time together on nights out. Over the past few years…
I recently saw this post on Jess’s blog, and thought I’d give it a go myself! Jess tagged anyone who was reading so thought I’d try it out, and I too tag anyone who’s reading, so give it ago! Make Up Blusher or Bronzer – I don’t really use either, but I guess blusher…
Now that our days are (finally) brightening up and becoming warmer there’s nothing I crave more than sitting in outside in the sunshine with something cold to drink. One thing that appealed to me was iced tea. I’ve always been a big fan of iced tea, but I’ve never got around to making it myself….
