All About Beauty Box

I think the idea behind beauty boxes are amazing. The idea of signing up to service that sends you samples of products you may have never tried or heard of before you buy them is great. So when All About Beauty* gave me the chance to try out one of their new boxes I jumped at the chance. The idea behind All About Beauty is that they find products from around the world to send, but they are all full sized products – no samples! Everyone receives the same 5 products in each box, so everyone gets the same value for money. This month was all about Italian skin care brands, and being a recently skin care junkie I was very happy with this months box!

First of all I received a cleanser, toner and moisturiser from the brand ‘Kipos’, all of which smell amazing. I’ve used them a couple of times and they’ve left my skin feeling really smooth, clean and fresh. Then from another brand ‘Dr. Lauranne’ I received a skin serum. I love products like this, and again it’s agreeing with my skin really well, leaving it soft and smooth. Then as a gift from All About Beauty I received an oil burner. I thought this was a little random, especially as I didn’t really think it fitted in with the theme of the box, nor was any oil or anything for it included, but nether the less I’ll still get some use out of it.

I love the idea of this box, especially the full sized products. I’ve only used the skin care products a few times, but already it’s agreeing with my skin, something I probably wouldn’t have found out if I had sample sizes! It is slightly more than your average beauty box – £17.95 including P&P, but you do receive full sized products! All About Beauty did say that each month you would receive 5 full sized products, so I’m not sure what my fifth product was meant to be as I thought the oil burner was meant to be a gift from them. Also they state that everyone receives the same products, but I’ve seen a couple of other reviews from other bloggers and seen that they have different products. A lot of beauty boxes send out different products so I don’t think it’s an issue, I just don’t think you should claim something if you don’t deliver.

Other than that I think this is a great box, and I’ve hopefully found some great new skin care products through it!
