Once upon a time I discovered my love of MAC lipsticks and ever since that day I often find myself inDebenhams swatching away at the MAC counter. I’ve created many a list of ‘lipsticks I need in my life’ after seeing YouTubers and bloggers rave about them. Sadly due to being a poor student, I can never justify forking out £14 for a new lipstick. But a while back I found myself in Debenhams with a little bit of extra money, and a need for MAC’s Shy Girl.

I’ve never been one for bold statement lips, I’m more of a ‘my lips but better’ natural colour kind of girl. Shy Girl falls perfectly in that category for me. It’s not such a pale colour that it washes me out, but its not too bold either. It’s one of my lipsticks that I reach for on an everyday basis, and it often gets carried around in my handbag. I fell in love with MAC’s Cremesheen formula when I first got Creme Cup (review here) as it just glides on the lips amazingly. I also find it doesn’t dry out my lips as much as other lipsticks do. Shy Girl has quickly become a fond favourite of mine, and I keep finding myself adding more MAC lipsticks into my imaginary shopping basket on the Debenhans website. Just maybe one day I’ll be able to afford to buy them all…
