Kerastase Fondant Nutri-Thermique

Kerastase is a brand to me that has always felt luxurious and high end. I’ve only ever tried a handful of products from Kerastase, my favourite being the Nutrive Nectar Thermique, but everything I’ve tried has impressed me. It was when I was looking for an intensive hair treatment when I came across Kerastase’s Fondant Nutri-Thermique, and decided to give it a try.

Kerastase Fondant Nutri-Thermique is an intense hair treatment that leaves your hair feeling and looking softer, and a lot easier to untangle. It claims to deeply nourish your hair, activating the thermo-reactive formula and trapping the nourishing elements deep inside the hair fibre, creating a protective film all around the hair fibre to help prevent your hair from drying out – basically a fancy way to say it’s an intensive hair conditioner. I had high hopes for this considering how the Nutrive Nectar Thermique worked wonders on my hair, but it just didn’t impress me. Yes it did make my hair feel nice, but no much more than a usual high street alternative does. After use my hair did feel slightly softer and shinier, but really I was looking for something that would also help to repair my hair, and I don’t feel that this does.

Considering this costs around £16 from Look Fantastic, I was expecting it to be a great product, but I don’t think it’s something I’ll be repurchasing again. Kerastase is still a brand I love, I just think I’ll be sticking to me Nutrive Nectar Thermique for now. While I’m on my hunt for a new intensive hair treatment do you have any recommendations?
