Natural Sea Sponge

I’ve never really been a fan of using sponges in the shower, I’ve always found them to be scratchy and irritating on my skin, and the sponges themselves always seem to go out of shape and grow mouldy. So when I was contacted by The Sponge Market I was a bit hesitant about using their sponges. But I was promised that their Natural Honeycomb Sponge would change my mind, so I decided to give it a go.

The Sponge Market’s sponges are made of 100% natural ingredients, making them firm, but also very silky to use. When I first received my Honeycomb 5 – 5.5 inch sponge I was afraid it would be too rough on my sensitive skin, but once it gets wet in the shower it softens up and leaves my skin feeling really soft. When I first received my sponge it felt really firm, so I was worried that after a few weeks of use it would start to lose it’s shape. I’ve been using this for over 4 weeks now and I’ve found that everyday it dries back into its original shape, and there’s no signs of it going mouldy! This is my go to sponge, as it leaves my skin feeling smooth, and even helps with some gentle exfoliation! The Sponge Market’s sponges are not only made from natural ingredients, but are also really affordable, with this one retailing for £15.50 and I’m sure it’s got a lot of life left in it!
