2016 Wishes

Every year I make new years resolutions, with things I hope to stick to, and usually don’t. So this year I thought I’d try something different, and share what my wishes are for the year ahead.

Home
Last year we moved into our flat in July, and still we haven’t finished decorating or getting it to how we want it. This year I’m hoping to finish decorating, get some pictures up on the walls, and fix a few things that need doing.

Money
2015 was a great year, but after being a really expensive year, money has been a little tight. Last year we started trying to work out what our money goes on, and how we can hopefully save a bit of money. This year I’m hoping that we can make it to the end of the month and still have money, as well as hopefully getting some more savings together.

Holiday
Me and Chris have never been a real holiday, so hopefully if we can get some savings together we can afford a holiday together this year! I’m not expecting us to be able to afford some super holiday of a lifetime, but a short trip somewhere abroad would be lovely.

Weightloss
I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while now, and failing, and towards the end of 2015 I joined Slimming World. It’s pretty easy to follow, but over the Christmas season I did gain a fair bit. This year I’m hoping to get my act together with it and actually lose some weight!

Be Happier
2015 wasn’t the best of years for me, and I did have a lot of problems with depression and anxiety. This year I’m hoping to to overcome these problems, and hopefully be a lot happier.

Crafty Projects
Back in 2014 I learnt to knit and spent hours making new things, but in 2015 I didn’t make much time for any crafty projects. This year is pretty exciting because my new niece or nephew is due in July, and what a better excuse to make new things for, so I want to get on with more crafty projects this year.

Learn Something New
This year I want to learn something new, I’m not sure what yet, but it’ll be pretty fun to learn something new!

So that’s my wishes for 2016, what are yours?

So if you weren’t aware, I turned the grand age of 21 on the 14th May (at 5.11am if we’re going to be exact…). My birthday sort of spread out over many days this year, with the Saturday before (12th) having a night out with the uni friends, and a surprise visit from my best…

I’m now into the third month of my Slip Into Summer challenge with DW Fitness and Weird Fish, it’s scary how quickly this has gone! Now that we’re in month three everything’s stepped up a game. The workouts are harder, and the diet is stricter, and as it’s the last month of the challenge I’m really hoping to see some…

Now that it’s the beginning of October I thought I’d revisit the goals I set myself to see how I did. Go to the gym three times a weekI managed to half achieve this one, sometimes I’d make…
