What I Got For Christmas

I can’t believe Christmas is over already, that seemed to come and go so quickly! I had a lovely quiet Christmas this year at my other halves parents, and a lot of food was consumed! I love being nosey at what other people got for Christmas, and if you’re one of those people too why not come have a nosey at what Santa bought me this year?

This was the year that everyone got me bath bombs! I actually recently ran out of my Lush bath bomb collection so this worked out really well for me as I’m an addict for the stuff. My parents got me some Bomb Cosmetic’s bath bombs which look like little adorable cakes, so I can’t wait to use these, and Chris’s parents and Grandparents also got me some Lush ones. My bath bomb collection is now fully stocked!

Chris also got some new books to keep me busy! I may have a small obsession with Gordon Ramsay, so of course I already read this one on Christmas day, and I’m now about half way through Pretty Honest and I’m really enjoying it so far! I also love Lena Dunham, I’m obsessed with watching Girls and Tiny Furniture, so I’m looking forward to reading her book, I’ve heard some great things about it!

I also got some lovely beauty bits, including an Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver, which I’m trying to get the hang of, some Origin’s skincare bits, and Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream perfume which just smells amazing! I also got some other lovely bits including candles, and loads of chocolate!
I hope everyone’s had a lovely Christmas! Did you get anything nice?

Like most girls I’m really close to my mum. We can spend hours nattering away, drinking tea, and often take days off work to go do girly trips. So when my mum had a stroke last month and spent a month away from us in hospital, my whole world felt like it came down. For…

A while ago I never understood why anyone would pay around the £20/30 mark for a foundation. I just didn’t understand why you’d spend so much money on a foundation when you can buy a ‘drugstore’ version for around the £10 mark. I thought surely they can’t provide that much more coverage, or make my…

It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a good nail art post, or a NOTD post at all for that matter. After receiving my Rio Nail Art Kit at the #JulyLondonMeetUp  I was feeling somewhat inspired. As it’s been an age since I’ve done any form of nail art I decided I wanted to do something simple to start…
