New Hair, New Start, And Back To Uni I Go…

I’ve done it, I’ve finally taken the plunge and got myself a fringe!
After much umming and ahhing over the situation for the majority of the summer, I decided to go for it. I was thinking about a full fringe, but I wussed out at the last minute, so my hair dresser said I should get used to ‘not having a forehead’, and voila!  I ended up with this very short side fringe.
What do you think?

My hair seems to have had such a massive change to it this summer, from going from dark brown to bright red, and now a fringe. The main reason for this dramatic change? I thought that I should have a change, a new start if you will. If you follow me on Twitter, or are a regular follower of my blog, you will know I’m moving back to uni this weekend. After counting down the days from 127 it is now only a tiny 1 sleep away! Without going into too much detail, I had a pretty bad start to my fist year at uni. I was home sick a lot of the time, I didn’t have a lot of money, I didn’t go out much, and I didn’t have a great deal of friends. I struggled a lot with the change and the work load. Around the second/third time this got much better – I know have some pretty amazing friends, and a boyfriend who I also met at uni. And somehow I managed to pass my first year even though I skipped a lot of lectures and didn’t do a great deal of work – oops! So anyway, after having a pretty awful boring summer and finding out that a lot of my ‘friends’ aren’t really people you can trust anymore, being fed up of not being invited out, or having friends lie to me, I decided I’m sort of giving up and having a ‘fresh new start’.

Anyway enough of my blabbing on here! Like I said I’m moving back to uni tomorrow, so I may disappear from the blogging/youtube scene for a while. But worry not! I’m not leaving you forever! I’m definitely going to work hard to keep up my blog and youtube, and as I’m only in uni 3 days a week this year I’m hoping I’ll have the time! (I should do I have 4 day weekends!). It may take me a while to get back to posting as in freshers week I’m gonna be a busy bee and be working as a fresher’s rep! But once things calm down I’ll be back 🙂

I just wanted to say again thank you to all of my lovely blog followers, twitter followers, and youtube subscribers – Its been so lovely chatting to all of you, and thanks for reading my pointless rambles/complainings/going on about make up!

Try not to miss me too much! I’ll be back soon!

Cleaning my makeup brushes is something I try to do on a weekly basis. There’s nothing worse than the look of dirty makeup brushes, and of course how unhygienic they are. It’s been a while since I’ve talked much about beauty products on here, despite me originally writing this as a beauty blog. Over the past year my interests have moved away a lot from beauty, what with buying my flat, cooking more, and doing more crafty things, I have a lot more to say than…

A while ago I never understood why anyone would pay around the £20/30 mark for a foundation. I just didn’t understand why you’d spend so much money on a foundation when you can buy a ‘drugstore’ version for around the £10 mark. I thought surely they can’t provide that much more coverage, or make my…
