Father’s Day Gift Ideas #1

First of all, how is it June? I swear yesterday I was writing Christmas present gift guides and trying to work out what to get people, and now I’m having to work out what to buy my dad for Father’s Day. When it comes to buying my dad gifts I’m hopeless, I just never know what to get him. The past year my dad has been somewhat of a superdad, with everything with my mum’s stroke he’s been there for her, he was there for me while she was in hospital, and he’s somehow kept it all together. Because he’s been such an amazing dad I want to get him something special this year as a massive thank you. I’ve found a few great ideas, and I wanted to share them so if you’ve also got a superdad this might give you some ideas!

Happy Socks 4 Pack Box // £15
Socks are always a great traditional gift, and what dad doesn’t need more socks? Not only that but these socks are presented beautifully in this lovely packaged box. I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging, and I would want to keep these like this and never take them out of the box!

The Real Shaving Co – Face Scrub £4.99 // Sensitive Shave Cream £3.99 // Sensitive Moisturiser £4.99
I actually got my love of beauty products off of my dad, so why not treat him to a professional grooming experience this Father’s day. The Real Shaving Co are offering the right tools to give dads the much needed attention and care they need for their skin.

Ted Baker M gift set £14.99  // Ted Baker men’s mini gift set £4.09

Keeping on the theme of beauty products for my dad, Ted Baker have some great gift sets for men to celebrate London heritage. The M gift set features a 30ml Eau de Toilette along with a 100ml Body Wash and After Shave Balm, all infused with a fresh, woody and understated fragrance with top notes of tonka bean, musk and vetiver combined with a spicy blend of amber and coriander. The mini travel kit for jet setting men who like to travel featuring 50ml Hair & Body Washes and Body Sprays in two unique new fragrances; Cool classic and Sporty & fresh.

Active Gold Collagen // £35.99
Sticking with the beauty products kind of theme, another great idea for Father’s day is Active Gold Collagen. Active Gold Collagen is enriched with high doses of collagen and also contains glucosamine, hyaluronic acid and L-carnitine which work from within to fight the signs of ageing and care for muscles and joints. As my dad’s rather active this could be the perfect gift for him, to ensure he remains the superdad that he is.

OXO Bladed Meat Tenderiser £16 // OXO Good Grips Twist-Top Bottle £10 // OXO Clean Cut Pizza Wheel £10 //  OXO Stainless Steel Tongs £10
OXO have some great gifts that could suit dad’s this Father’s Day, especially as summer is right around the corner which means one thing, BBQ’s! If your dad is into his BBQ’s in the summer the meat tenderiser and stainless steel tongs would make the perfect gift to make sure he’s equipped. Maybe your dad is quite the foodie, and would appreciate the the pizza wheel, which non-slip grip perfect for pizza cutting. My dad’s rather active so I know he’d like the twist-top bottle, which features a twist open lid to keep the straw clean and free from spillages.

Lottie Shaw’s Father’s Day bag of sweet treats // £20
If your superdad has a bit of a sweet tooth, you really need to buy him Lottie Shaw’s Father’s Day bag of sweet treats. Lottie Shaw’s products are based on traditional family recipes and feature some delicious looking treats and hampers perfect for Father’s day. The bag of sweet treats includes shortbread biscuits, ginger biscuits, all butter fudge, chocolate chip flapjack, and millionaires shortbread. Not only does everything look amazing, but it’s also packaged beautifully, with lovely typography on all of the packaging. This will ensure your dad is stocked up on tasty treats for a while.

Godiva Chocolate Truffles // £16.25
If your dad likes luxury chocolates, then he’d certainly enjoy Godiva truffles. These truffles come either with or without alcohol, depending on what your dad prefers. The truffles themselves are deliciously indulgent, and have the perfect smooth chocolatey centre that any chocolate lover dad would love.
I hope this gift guide has given you a few ideas on what to treat your superdad to this year. Whether your dad’s been having a hard time, has helped you through a hard time, or is just an amazing dad, I’m sure he deserves a treat this year!
