I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate milk is quite a treat. So when I was asked if I wanted to review Cocio’s chocolate milk of course I said yes, what sort of chocolate milk lover would I be if I said no!
Cocio’s chocolate milk is unlike other chocolate milks in the UK, because it’s not from the UK, it’s Danish! I had no idea what to expect before I tried this, as I’ve never tried anything from there (other than Danish pastries…). Cocio is best enjoyed ice cold, and drunk straight from the bottle. It’s made from a simple blend of milk, cocoa, and sugar. As I’m meant to be watching what I eat I was happy to see they do a slightly better for you version, the Cocio One, with only 130 calories per bottle. I usually find that these versions don’t taste as nice as the original, but I was happy as it still tasted just as creamy and luxurious, just without the extra calories and only 1% fat and 1% added sugar.

I really enjoyed my Cocio One Chocolate Milk, and I’m happy to see it’s now available at my local Waitrose. I think it’s safe to say I have a new chocolate milk addiction. You can read more about Cocio here.
We’re now just under a week until Christmas day! While a lot of people are completely organised, others might just have their Christmas wrapping left to do, and then every year there’s always someone who’s left their Christmas shopping until the last minute. If that’s you don’t worry, I’ve got some great last minute gift…
On Friday evening I attended the Herts Bloggers Xmas Party at Pizza Express in St Albans organised by the lovely Sarah and Scarlett. I love blogger meet ups and events, especially as it gives you the chance to meet fellow bloggers, have a chat and really get to know the blogger behind the blog. Of course this one…
A few weeks ago I blogged about how I was trying to eat a little healthier, and probably one of the best things I learnt from the campaign I took part in, was to eat a good healthy breakfast. Before I started trying to eat better, my breakfasts were terrible. On days I’d be at work…

A few months ago me and my mum went on a little trip away to Manchester for a few days, mostly to visit the Coronation Street tour, but also to have a little girly holiday. I’d never been to Manchester before, and being the organised person I am, I decided to plan lots of other fun…
Recently my mum has become low fodmap, meaning there’s a whole load of food she can’t have anymore. Two things happen to be gluten and dairy. This is making meal times a bit more interesting, and as I live at home I sort of follow the low fodmap diet, although dairy and gluten are two…
