Eat Your Photo

A while ago I was contacted by the folks at Eat Your Photo to see if I’d be interested in reviewing some of their cakes. You don’t have to ask me twice if I want to review cake. Free cake?! Yes please. However this isn’t just any normal cake.. oh no. It’s a cake that you can put your own edible photo on!

I was offered a box of their lovely cupcakes which I could chose my own photo for. When it came to choosing a photo I had no idea what to pick, the website suggested photos of your children, so I went with my cat Marley.

There’s two choices of flavours for the cupcakes, chocolate or vanilla. I usually prefer chocolate cake, but this time I decided to try out the vanilla one as I thought sometimes chocolate cake can seem a little dry. The cakes turned up a few days later through the post, which I was worried they might come a little squashed, but I was pleasantly surprised that they were well protected.

I was really impressed with the quality of the photo on the cakes, which came out as clear as the original photo itself. I was also surprised at how tasty the cakes were. I was half expecting them to be a little dry, but I found them to be perfectly moist, and spongey, with lovely creamy icing, just like a cake should be!

I really love how you can put your own photo on these cakes, I think they’d be perfect for birthday parties, or christenings. I’m actually so excited to have a party or a reason to order more of these, I think they’d really impress guests! Looking through the Eat Your Photo website I see they also do bigger cakes, cookies, and even chocolates! These would make great gifts, or even a great way to promote your business, everyone likes cake! I’m tempted to even order some just to eat all to myself..

*Product sent to me to review, but views are my own. I just really like cake.

  • Cocio One Chocolate Milk

I love chocolate milk, I’m terrible for it. Whenever I’m out and see the option of chocolate milkshakes, or even in my local corner shop, I just can’t resist it. Luckily I can behave a bit more at home, as we never have any milk in as my mum’s lactose intolerant, so a rare chocolate…

    Last Minute Gift Ideas

We’re now just under a week until Christmas day! While a lot of people are completely organised, others might just have their Christmas wrapping left to do, and then every year there’s always someone who’s left their Christmas shopping until the last minute. If that’s you don’t worry, I’ve got some great last minute gift…
