The Sunday Post #22 – Getting Back Into Fitness

It’s no secret that I’m not a sporty person at all. A typical conversation for me at work is “Did you go to the gym last night Lisa?” “No I stayed in and ate a pizza”. I’m completely lazy and I just can’t seem to motivate myself to get into a healthy routine. I’m now doing my best to drag myself kicking and screaming to change my lifestyle into a healthier one, and although diet is a big part of it, I also want to get back into fitness.

Once upon a time I was a regular gym goer, going at least three times a week and really enjoying it. I haven’t been on a holiday for years, and I mean years. The last proper holiday I had was with my parents (who paid because I’m poor) to Devon in 2014, and before that was… well, in 2009. I’ve had the odd day trip out, and many many trips up to Sunderland to visit Chris’s…
