What I’ve Been Watching On Netflix

Ah Netflix, my one true love. I remember when Chris introduced me to it in our second year of uni when it had first came over to the UK. Gone were my days of having to search Google for the films and TV shows I wanted to watch, instead they were all there in one place. Although I do remember in the beginning there wasn’t much available, so we just binge watched Hey Arnold…

These days Netflix is a little more popular and there’s a whole range of things to watch. Here’s what I’ve been enjoying lately.

Of course I’ve been watching Orange is the New Black since the new series came out, just like everyone else. I got pretty into it, but I found it pretty annoying how it seemed to just be setting up for the next series, in a years time, GAH. Bob’s Burgers is the kind of TV show that I find hilarious, I love the character of Tina and find myself quoting things she says almost on a daily basis. Chris introduced my to 30 Rock, and it took me a while to get into it, but of course in true Tina Fey style, it’s pretty funny. I’ve only recently watched Parks and Recreation in the past few months, but it’s one of those TV shows that’s easy to binge watch. There’s some pretty hilarious quotes in there, and I find myself shouting ‘Treat Yo Self’ a lot, and I mean a lot.

Last month the new episodes of Bojack Horseman got released, which made me and Chris pretty happy, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the series. It was good, but I felt like it didn’t get really good until the end, and now I have to wait for the next series to come out. Why do you do this to me Netflix?!? The Office is something I just binge watched pretty much the whole way through university, I just think Jim and Pam’s relationship is the best. Arrested Development is probably one of my all time favourite shows, and I can’t believe it took me so long to watch it. I find the storyline hilarious, and I really like how it comes back to it constantly. Most the things I watch on Netflix are comedy shows, but sometimes I’ll find a good documentary on there and I’ll watch it constantly, and recently that was Fed Up. I’ve been trying to be healthier lately, and I thought I’d watch this to try and put me off sugar a bit. It’s kind of crazy what sugar can do to you, it’s certainly worth a watch if you’ve not seen it before.

I always find it interesting to see what other people like watching on Netflix, I’ve even found some good shows through recommendations from friends. Recently I was mentioned on this article about my love for Arrested Development, and a few other bloggers have mentioned their favourites, and there’s some pretty interesting looking shows mentioned on there! I keep hearing good things about Daredevil, so I really need to give that a watch.

What have you been watching on Netflix lately?
