Real Techniques Stippling Brush

There’s no denying it but every blogger probably owns the real technique brushes. Since these came out in Boots stores last year everyone has gone mental over them. I purchased mine back in July and since I bought them its changed how I do my make up. Once upon a time I used to apply my foundation with a manky looking sponge. Not only did it not blend well, but it left me with too thick a foundation and would look cakey. I was then reccomended by a friend to use a foundation brush where I then used to literally paint on my foundation. Once again, this didn’t end well. I then stuck with applying my foundation with my fingers which worked well until I discovered the Real Techniques Stippling Brush.

With this brush I find that I don’t waste my foundation. I dot the foundation across my face and then buff it into my skin using circular motions, using a lot less foundation than I used to when I used other brushes and sponges. The foundation transfers well onto my skin rather than staying in the brush, and because of the duo fibres in the brush, it hardly looks dirty. Having sensitive skin I find this brush is great for me. It’s nice and soft, even around my eye area, and it applies my make-up gently.

There’s not really much else to say about this brush other than it really is worth the £11.99 price tag. I know it seems pretty pricey for a make up brush but it really has lived up to the hype for me. Since discovering this I’ve bought many more of the Real Techniques brushes, and I don’t think I’ll be going back to another brand any time soon.
