Redken Frizz Dismiss Intense Smoothing Kit

My hair is usually a mess, it’s super thick, curly, and frizzy, and nothing ever seems to tame it. For years I’ve been trying a range of products to try and tame it, so I can look somewhat presentable, but my hair always seems to stay frizzy. I’m a sucker for products that say they can help my crazy hair and give me super sleek locks instead, and over the years I’ve tried hundreds to try and find one. Sometimes I’ve managed to find a decent shampoo, or a treatment that can help with my frizz, but I’ve never found a complete set that has managed to help me.

Recently Redken have added a brand new collection to their range, specifically for us frizzy haired girls; the frizz dismiss collection. So I was pretty happy when my local salon Matthew Luke Hair very kindly gifted me their Redken frizz dismiss intense smoothing kit to attempt to tame my hair with.

The Redken frizz dismiss range claims to deliver 82% less frizz after just one use of their sulphate free shampoo and conditioner after 24 hours. Both the shampoo and conditioner contain Redken’s exclusive frizz-fighting humidity-resist complex, delivering a blend of Brazilian pracaxi oil and aquatoril to nourish and protect hair from humidity to help dismiss frizz.
I’m a big fan of Redken products, with my old favourite being their Extreme range. All of their products just seem to work wonders, and the frizz dismiss range is no exception. After the first use of the range I noticed a difference in my hair; it was so much easier to style after washing, it didn’t feel as thick and heavy, and there was no frizz! For the first time in years, my hair wasn’t full of unmanageable crazy frizz, and it looked shiny and healthy. I really like that this also works in humidity, especially now it’s starting to get warmer. Usually in the summer my hair is a big ol ball of frizz, so I’m looking forward to this keeping my hair in place.

The set also includes Rebel Tame, a leave-in smoothing control cream. Similar to the shampoo and conditioner, this contains Redken’s exclusive frizz-fighting humidity-resist complex. I apply rebel tame to my hair once I’ve towel dried it, as my last stage before I style my hair. This helps tame the last little bits of frizz in the ends of my hair, and leaves them looking smooth and sleek.

For the first time in years I have lovely sleek, unfrizzy hair thanks to this Redken kit. My hair feels so much smoother, it’s so much more manageable, and I don’t resemble some sort of bird’s nest anymore. If you likewise have a problem with frizz or flyaways I’d certainly recommend one of the Redken frizz dismiss kits, I’m certainly going to be stocking up on them!
