I’m not usually one to get sucked in to the sales after Christmas, but this year I was sucked into a couple of 50% off sales, one being from The Body Shop. I love The Body Shop products and find I always have a ‘back up stock’ of them. I originally wasn’t going to make an order for them, but once I found myself taking a look at the 50% off range I knew I had to buy something…
Ginger Sparkle Body Polish – £5
Rainforest Radiance Conditioner – £4.50
Rainforest Moisture Shampoo – £2
Dreams Unlimited Eau De Parfum – £5
Dreams Unlimited Body Butter – £5
Ginger Sparkle Body Butter – £5
Love Etc Body Butter – £5
I originally was just going to pick up a couple of back up items of the Ginger Sparkle range after falling in love with the gift set my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. I already had a spare shower gel so I decided to get the full size Body Polish and Body Butter for when the miniature versions from the set run out. I then decided while I was looking at Body Butters that I may as well pick up a few more while I’m there. In the past I’ve fallen for the Dreams Unlimited and Love Etc scents so I picked up both of those in Body Butter form. Then I saw the Dreams Unlimited Eau De Parfum was also on offer so I decided to pick it up as a girl can never have too much perfume right? ;). And then finally I thought I’d give some of The Body Shop’s shampoos and conditioners a go, so picked up the Radiance Conditioner and the Moisture Shampoo, which I didn’t read the size of so bought the smallest bottle – oops.
I think I’m now stocked up on The Body Shop products for a while now, especially on Body Butters as I already had a few hanging around in my collection to start with. I’m looking forward to trying out the shampoo and conditioner as I’ve not tried any of The Body Shops hair products before. Overall I was pretty impressed with the 50% off sale as there was a good amount of stuff available. The 50% sale is still running at the moment, and for this week only there’s a 40% off non-sale items, so why not go and grab yourself a bargain!
I know everyone’s been saying it, but seriously when did it become July? I swear just the other day I was freezing my socks off at Christmas, and now here me have it, July! I just can’t believe where the times gone! Well here’s what products I’ve been enjoying in June: Tresemme 24 hour…
Woah! When did it become August?!? This year is just creeping up on us. Although it doesn’t feel like August as it’s still all grey outside, good old British summer time But as it’s the beginning of August you know what that means, it’s monthly favourites time! And as I’ve got back into the world of YouTube this months…
Something I really like is lovely smelling shower gels. hand washes and moisturisers. I just love using them, and being able to smell it ages later. So when I spotted this in Boots, I couldn’t resist. I’ve been a fan of the I Love… range for ages, and I’m slowing working my way through trying…
I’m now 91 days into the worst spending ban you’ve probably seen in the history of spending bans. Finally the end is in sight, only another 9 days to go! Keeping up my theme of doing terribly with a spending ban, I have another confession this week. I shopped. Last week I took a day…
Today my little part of the internet is five. FIVE. A whole five years of sitting and typing away at my laptop and taking photographs of my makeup, crazy. I never thought that I would still be doing this five years later, or that anyone would still be reading about the mundane details of my…
So I’m kinda new to the whole make-up brush scene (Don’t ask me how I’ve ever coped I have no idea!), and purchased my first set of make-up brushes last week. Mr Postman delivered them to me early Tuesday morning, I’ve never been so excited! I got this set of 12 make-up brushes…
