August Empties

As you can see August was a good month for my empties. I’ve been trying to use up a lot of my products before I start buying more (not that this will work). I’ve never really done an empties post before, mostly because I’m lazy and only ever use up 1 or 2 things a month. I’m trying to save money at the moment, especially as I don’t have a job, so thought I’ll do my best at using things up. Here’s what I’ve used up this month.

Tresemme Naturals Shampoo
I’m never normally fussed with what shampoo I use and as I live at home I tend to use whatever my mum buys me, this month it was Tresemme. I don’t really have much to comment on with it, it was an okay shampoo and it washed my hair. When it comes to repurchasing, I probably will as I always need shampoo.

Tresemme Naturals Conditioner
Likewise with this conditioner I don’t have anything amazing to say with it.

Dove Hair Therapy Intensive Repair Shampoo
This is a shampoo that I bought for myself when my hair was feeling a little run down. I love the Dove Hair Therapy range, and this helped to get my hair in a better condition. I’ll probably repurchase this at some point, as it’s something that I always come back to.

Aussie Reconstruction Deep Conditioner
This is another product I repurchase over and over again. It works wonders on my hair when it’s feeling a bit neglected.

Dove Hair Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Express Treatment Conditioner
Another hair care favourite of mine. A definite repurchase as it’s something I always like to have in stock.

Treacle Moon Warm Cinnamon Nights Shower Gel
This has been something I’ve had kicking around for months, as I originally bought this at Christmas time last year. I decided it was finally time to get around to using it up, although it didn’t feel appropriate using it at this time of the year. I don’t think I’d repurchase this, although it was really nice, it didn’t feel very Christmassy.

Sranrom Jasmine Indulgence Shower Gel
I got given this at the Beauty Bloggers Tea Party and thought it smelt amazing. It was lovely to use, and I used it all up almost instantly. Although I liked it I don’t think I’ll repurchase, as it’s a little more than I can justify spending on a shower gel.

Lee Stafford Poker Straight Heat Defense Spray
I love Lee Stafford products and the heat defense spray is no exception. This will probably be a repurchase at some point, as I have others on the go at the moment.

L’Oreal Studio Matt & Messy Salt Spray
A friend of mine gave me this as it didn’t work for her. I quite loved it at the time, but since using it up I don’t find a need to repurchase. I think for now I’m going to leave it.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum
This was one of my favourite serums and I’m sad to have used it all up. I don’t plan on repurchasing at the moment as I have a few other serums I want to try out.

L’Oreal Youth Code Serum
This has also been mentioned as a favourite serum, but likewise I have no plans to repurchase.

The Body Shop Camomile Gntle Eye Make-up Remover
I got this as a freebie in The Body Shop one day and it’s sat around in my skin care drawer for sometime now being unused. I don’t tend to use eye make up removers as I just use a cleansner instead, but this was really gentle to use. I’m not sure about repurchasing as I don’t feel that I have a need for this in my skin care routine.

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque
I received lots of samples in the #JulyLondonMeetUp goody bag and this was one of them. I’ve heard good things about this, but I was disappointed when I used it. It didn’t seem to do anything different to my hair than a deep conditioner did. I think it’s a no on repurchasing for me.

Aussie 3 Minite Miracle Shine Deep Treatment
This was a sample I had kicking around from a magazine. I love Aussie products and this was no exception again. I didn’t notice anymore shine than normal though, but my hair did feel softer.

Jenoris Keratin Hair Mask
Another #JulyLondonMeetUp freebie. I’d never heard of this brand before so I was excited to try it out. It was really nice to my hair and left it feeling soft for days. Unsure about repurchasing at the moment as I have a lot of hair masks I love.

Jenoris Keratin Shampoo
Another #JulyLondonMeetUp sample. I quite liked this one, it seemed to work well with my hair and left it feeling soft. I’m thinking about repurchasing this one, but probably won’t anytime soon.

I’m trying to get around to using up more of my products, hopefully September will be just as successful with empties as August was!
