NOTD – Models Own ‘Smash Up Silver’

I bought Models Own ‘Smash Up Silver’ a good month or so ago and I haven’t got round to reviewing it yet! O silly me! Since I discovered Barry M’s nail effects a few months back, I was hooked. I loved experimenting with the black over different colours, and being amazed at the outcome. Soon later Barry M bought out different colours, and off I was to my local Boots to buy all of them and try them out. My flat mate then told me a few months ago that Models Own were planning on jumping on the nail effects hype, but bringing out different colours. Well I was more than excited! So when I saw that they’d released the silver and black, I was straight down to Boots to buy the silver. I already had black in Barry M, so I didn’t see the point in buying it in Models Own, but I’m looking forward to getting my hands on some of the other colours!

Just as quickly as I fell for Barry M’s nail effects, I’ve fallen for Model’s Own Smash Up. I painted it over Barry M’s strawberry ice cream, and the pale pink and silver colour go really well together. I find that it cracks more than Barry M does, but is just as easy to apply. I love the silver colour of it, its fairly subtle, so its not so in your face, but it also stands out at the same time. I can’t wait to get my hands on the other Models Own Smash Up colours now!

What do you think?

  • Vitamin E Haul

I’ve never really been one for skincare, having always kept my skincare routine very very simple only using face wash. But since discovering Superdrug’s Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser a month ago I’ve seen such an amazing difference in my skin. I’ve been using it as a permanent part of my skincare routine and the results have…

  • Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser

The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is something that’s raved about in the beauty community and I’m sure we’ve all heard about it. But at £23 for 200ml, its something that’s slightly out of my price range, especially when it’s quite a lot of money to part with just to try out…
